have u ever tried chopping it up dime size for the bigger pieces for the drying / curing process. trrying to decide how i want to do it.. also did u use fresh trimmings or dried / frozen trimmings?

TGA 3D+Vortex - Bubble Hash Report
Strains: TGA The Third Dimension(3D) + Vortex sugar leaves/clippings
Method: Ice Water Extraction with FOUR 5gallon bags --- 220micron, 160micron, 90micron, and 45micron
Input (clippings): 65grams of trichome covered sugar leaves from both plants. Got most of the petioles out before processing.
Output (yield of hash): 0.72grams of 160micron, 2.53 grams of 90 micron, and 1.67grams of 45 micron
Smell: Spicy floral boutique
Taste: Earthy with spice and a hint of fruity taste in the background
Effect: 8.5/10---Very uplifting, VERY fast onset, and a good 3 hour effect if you smoke 0.10grams of it. You probably shouldn't smoke it if you are not used to a very potent high, because it is kind of a racy high at first.
Comments: First off, the 160micron was obviously only just so-so in effect since it let through the smaller sativa trichomes and had a little bit of green left in it. Ended up just selling it for 30 bucks, lol. Kept the 90 and 45 micron for myselfThe 90 micron was a little more stoney in effect than the 45micron, but both seemed about the same in length of stone and just overall high-feeling. Very expansive smoke in the lungs and the effect is felt almost instantly. First time I smoked 90micron, I almost passed out because I was standing up near the stove doing the two knives on the stove method...strong stuff!! Great use of the trimmings!!!!!

Yep after I let it set there for about 30 minutes spread out on that piece of glass (set on top of my modem) I felt it necessary to scrape it all off the glass and makes little pieces like you were saying. I do that in order to make sure it doesn't all get stuck to the glass, plus i like to put all the hash into a little tiny paper bag for about 12 hours or so to make sure its got all the moisture out of it. Then, I have 2 large test tubes that have the screw on caps that i store it in.
I usually always save up my trim from a few different plants, storing it in triple freezer bags so it doesn't get freeze-burn. Half of the trim for this was pre frozen and half was fresh. I also use spring water instead of normal tap water.
Forgot to mention the first two pictures are the 90micron...first is of it still wet and the second is after it was in bag for 12 hours and i rolled it back into a laffy taffy looking piece. And the last pic is the 45 micron dried and made into little pieces.

Got em about a year and a half ago off Amazon for 30 bucks....so obviously on the cheapo side. NOT "Bubble Bags"....more than likely made in china junk, but I don't use them but once every 4 months or so when i get a few different strains worth of trim. I basically make hash when I am low on weed to get me through til the next harvest, which is why I usually store the trim in the freezer.Originally Posted by 90cody
