Cali Connection Tahoe OG Feminized - wtf?
UPDATE:
I received a message from Swerve today and he has offered to send me a new pack of seeds, and some goodies. Since I've only run one pack of his seeds, I think I should give it one more shot to be fair and balanced
Anytime a breeder contacts you after seeing a report, you know that they are at least trying to do the right thing. That makes all the difference in my book. But yes, I will be running this next pack in it's own tent, just in case. I'll also do a report when it's finished.

I've never filled out a grow/smoke report without finishing a strain, but a frustrating situation compels me.
Out of 6 Tahoe OG seeds, I got 6 hermaphrodites. Full on hermies with male flowers popping up all over at 3-4 weeks into flower.
Unfortunately, they seeded my entire tent, so I culled them and decided to make a post. The frustrating part is that they seeded some kandy kush and one kosher kush.
I've had a hermie here and there with female seeds before, even with regular seeds, but I've never seen anything like the tahoe OG's! Male flowers were hiding under almost every bud and even growing straight off the stem. It's a shame because they looked damn healthy and frosty too! They smelled lemony pine and I was getting excited. What a let down!
Live and learn I guess. At least I have a few Kandy Kush and Kosher Kush's that weren't seeded because they finished right when the tahoe OG went into flower. Kosher Kush Grow/Smoke report coming this week.
This isn't intended to bash Cali Connection but simply relay my experience in case anyone else had similar results.

oh man that sucks bro. Alot of people had that problem with CCs Fem seeds.You had a so-called breeder (used loosely) trying to make some extra $$ by making fem seeds that he didn't know a damn thing about, and that's what you got, crap! I have had a couple good phenos from CC reg gear, but over all none of em' were worth the price paid. I'm running some Kosher right now as well, and know KK is great too, so they will make you happy.
That sucks dude! I had the same problem with Subcool's Apollo 13 x Vortex...and those were regular seeds, i don't understand how they could have hermied so bad on me (at first i thought they were just both male, but then in week 3 i noticed a few white hair here and there).
I grew a Tahoe OG from CC too, but mine was regular seed that turned out to be male...having said that, it was the most resinous male I've ever seen...had trichomes on leaves...i didn't know males could even have trichomes outside their flowers...made some crosses with that, hopefully the seeds will be worth growing...

Hate to hear it. I was actually really looking forwards to my tahoe freebie. I was really hoping that with the bad reputation CC already has that they would have gone above the call of duty with these freebies to ensure they were not crap. But I guess dollar signs is all that some people see and dont give a shit what product they send out the door.
There is a couple of funny threads about this, Cali Conn whats the deal and Cali Conn good or bad. Some funny reading I must say.
Hi Bro if it makes you feel better i am 6 weeks into flower with the Budha Tahoe O.G. by Big Buddha seeds and have been throught with problems, i am nearly 6 weeks into flower on 2 of these but the buds are very small compared to most strains i grow or is there something wrong? I am not computer literate so cant take photos and post them as not realy sure how, anyway i hope you resolve your problem and your future grows go well for you, all the best Doby Mick
I advise you to contact swerve. He says he will make it good in those threads. Ask politely and see if he stands by his word.

Has anybody ran the kosher from seed with great results? Because all mine hermed full blown while in veg.
you see people still saying "Use hermies for breeding, you get fem seed" LOL
gutted for your time though, would you want to run a cali con strain knowing he doesnt fem he hermies???
Ask him for BIG BUDDHA fems. Atleast them guys go the chemichal root (They both work together so its possible)
