Strain: G13 Labs Skunk #1

Growth: 12/12 from seed under 150 watt HPS then 400 watt HPS for the last 4 weeks. I used MG Organic soil
My 1 plant was very Indica dominant w/ 1 main cola and a few side branches.

Nutes: 1/2 strength Jack Classic Blossom Booster during flowering.

Yield: Average
I dont have a scale. I only harvested the top 1/2 of the plant. I'm revegging the bottom 1/2 and taking clones. It was a small plant, my intention was to keep her small.

Bag Appeal: 9/10
After only 5 days curing it looks good. Kind of a neon green and frosted. Very nice looking.

Smell: 7/10
Dosent smell like skunk very much, barely at all. The smell is more like a sweet spicey smell w/ a hint of skunk. I was hoping for a more Skunky smell

Taste: 7/10
Sounds odd but it reminds me of sweet Jamaican Jerk seasoning. I like the taste alot. Only disappointment would be that I was hoping for a more Skunk taste.

The High: 7.5/10
Better than average, not mind blowing. At first a very heady high then a more relaxed stone.
I like it.

Comments: I grew this as my first 12/12 from seed grow. I harvested what I did at 7 weeks after flowers really developed. I decided to keep the strain so I harvested early to reveg the bottom 1/2 of the plant. Ill be taking clones and growing a few out for a full normal grow. I think with some more veg time and a full flowering period the strain would really finish well. I also grew it for 3/4 of its life under a 150 watt HPS. Ive since upgraded to a 400 watt HPS

This was her around 6 weeks of flower.

30 day veg = 2 1/2 to 3 z's under a 1000 for me. The smell and taste is as you described. Nothing special but it does the trick. You get 2 pheno's usually. Just a slight difference in bud formation and smell. One bud type grows more pointy topped and smells more fruity. The other, the one I kept, grows nugs like baseballs and smells/tastes more spicy.

If your interested for a comparison. Seedsman's Skunk #1 I veg for 30 days under 400 MH and then Flower under 400 HPS in aeroponics and I get 2.5 oz per plant using Technaflora recipe around 3-350 ppm. Flowering takes 10 weeks. Nice high, some body, more heady which can be more intense when you do more than 1 or 2 hits. Great day time smoke at one or two. If you want a good Skunk #1 maybe give it a try.

LOL Seedsman's and G13 have the same exact Skunk #1. Cept mine finish 3 weeks earlier under the 1000.

It appears so. Mine was longer and certainly on the Sativa side. But maybe it is just the wattage for time.

its my best plant at the moment

i love it , , it smells/taste like candy , rock hard nugs coverd in frost , , clones super fast ,, is done between 8 and 9 weeks,, and has a Great all around buzz

i give it an 8 out of 10
