Flying dutchman white widow

Strain: FLYING DUTCHMAN WHITE WIDOW from attitude here is the link http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk.../prod_406.html
Growth: I grew the5 seeds using the SCROG method.2 of the 5 were vegged for 2 weeks the other 3 were flowered from seed no veg. Due to the method and my expierience I can not really gauge how well it grew.I grew this under a 400 watt hps. Flowered for 10-11 weeks last 2-3 weeks I cut the 12/12 down to 8/16 as reccomended by flying dutchman.
Nutes: fox farm grow big and tiger bloom fed 3 times a day during lights on for 20 minutes via ebb and flow.
Yield: the yeild dry was 3.5 ounces dried and cured. The 2 week veg time was a very big difference. a lil more than 2 zips from the 2 plants vegged for 2 weeks and a lil less than 1.5 for the 3 plants w/none.
Bag Appeal: Well I was hoping for the white widow to be all white with crystals as it is known to be but it looked good but just not as great as expected.
Smell:4 of the 5 plants had really no noticable smell while growing and when in the jars it just smelled nice.Very weak tho. If i had taken clones i would not need to worry about odor control. ! plant seemed to grow more like a sativa. Real stretchy long fan leaves and it smelled like frsh cilantro. Not over powering tho.

Taste: The cilantro smelling stuff had a nice after taste. The others just tasted like almost nothing. Real smooth smoke tho. Its best quality to me was you could hit it forever with absolutely no harsh effects i guess. so smooth is what i am trying to say. no coughing no exploding in the lungs, just smooth.
The High: The most disappointing part of the expieience. It is just a nice body high. My commercial weed conection 200 dollar a zip stuff was more potent. Nothing really to mind blowing.
Comments I am novice in skill set so alot of factors to consider when rating this strain i suppose. If I could always have some of this smoke around it would be nice but the more I think about it the more I think I am looking for a kick ass sativa so I can get the head high. the main reason I am posting this smoke report is because if it had been here before I bought my seeds I may not have bought them. I am not loading my pics cuz they looked like every other widow grow I have seen.

I thought indicas gave you the body high and sativas gave you the cerebral high.......

In the middle of my grow I smoked some haze. I took maybe 3 hits of this tini blunt and for about 3 hours I got lost in my own thoughts. Real inspiring type of high. Thats the high I am looking to find but all the haze strains take at least 15 weeks to flower and they dont yield so big. I figure that to add to the risk factor with my skill set. Really not in a place where I can grow tall plants either.
My next grow I am growing auto ak-47. When I am where I can gorw tall plants I will try a haze, and they are sativas.

I recently bought one feminized WW seed, it's from G13 Labs, but I doubt there will be much difference, glad I only bought one, I prefer indicas, but I grow the occasional sativa for the wife, she prefers the body high.

was thinking maybe a different breeder would have different widow. also i have been smoking this widow foralmost a month so i may have built up a tolerance. like i said its a good smoke, just wasnt somthing over powering.

Generally you are right, though most of the plants out there are a hybrid of both indica and sativa. When it's harvested can also influence the nature of the high. The more amber trichomes (which show up late in flower), the more sedative the effect.

I have just started ten of the WW from the flying dutch man had a 60% germination rate which im not 2 impressed with

. I was considering topping them i will be vegging them for about 4 to 5 weeks before i start to flower . Any1 here have any experience with topping any WW .

i grew some ww. sounds alot like yours. real mellow. smooth. but hardly any real "taste". the potency was also nothing to write home about. i have been told, that the real white widow, is now called "black widow". i guess he took his male and left. and i have never tried smoking or growing this. to many others out there to try. but it was an easy plant to grow, and even self sexed in 18/6.
