Company: Barney's Farm
Strain: Night Shade

Method: grown from feminized seed, indoors, in soil, under CFL lights
Growth: somewhat fluffy, darker green buds with a lot of brown/orange hairs, lots of crystals
Bag appeal: 8-8.5/10 depending on if you look at the denser buds over the fluffier ones. Had potential for a 10 though, just too fluffy overall.
Nutes: tasted clean enough to me (I fucking grew it!-->flushed for 12 days prior)
Smell: subtle, not skunky. In the jar it smells peppery with a lot of citrus/lemon notes and has gotten a lot sweeter as the cure has progressed. Not an overpowering smell, will definitely not fill the house (had very little smell in flower). 6/10 clean smell, could have more of a kick.
Taste: lemon and pepper just like the smell. Tastes great all the way until the bowl is kicked too, not harsh or green.
High: 8.5/10 could have been better, but still a winner. Very introverted feeling, lateral thinking enhanced tremendously. Works nicely on aches from stress/tension. Mildly effective as a painkiller for bigger things (my herniated disc) but there's better out there. If I didn't abuse this strain during flower I assume it would have been much improved. The high last a LONG time, 1 bowl kept me high-high for a solid 3 hours and lingered for about 4 1/2. Some burnout, mostly lethargy but it can easily be overcome.

Notes: Has been in cure since 10-23, tested 11-4. Smoke is somewhat expansive and can surprise you on a larger draw. I tested it with a 1-hit size piece in a smaller spoon. Out of the water-pipe its nice, not too bad in a blunt wrap either (green game was the best combo so far). Burns clean, bowl ash is white when everything is consumed.
