First time grower, thinking about growing some Super Silver Haze to start off, good idea or bad? Basically, how difficult of a plant is it to grow? & I'm wondering if I should grow in a closet or buy a tent? Any other ideas are great also.

Second, has anyone smoked Super Silver Haze? I've never smoked it, would appreciate some oppinions.

Yes, it's a good choice of strain. The conditions are down to you. I would suggest not breaking the bank if it's your first grow. Otherwise you may lose heart if things went badly. Good soil, good lights, decent nutrients. Such things are not tremendously expensive, even mylar sheeting can be picked up for next to nothing. Bud Boxes are nice, but it's all about your budget. Prioritise.

As for the bud it self. Super Silver Haze.. I smoked it like 18 months ago in Amsterdam, it was very tasty, like most strains with the name 'haze' attatched it'll put you on your arse should you want it to. I wish I could offer a better critique, but it was a long time ago.

Def appreciate the advice. I think i'm going to take it, I was thinking the same thing and you just made up my mind. The expense is too much of a risk for my first time. A lot of people suggested I grow TrainWreck, seems to be easier to grow.

Hello. Yea i wouldn't do the Super Silver first if i were you. It was my first attempt and it was hell. BUT only beacause i had no fucking clue what i was doing as a grower. My first success came with my second attempt with Trainwreck. SUPER easy to grow, and really really tasty and high yielding. I have been going about 10 months now and am gonna spend money on good seeds now that i have trained up. Still learning though, takes practice practice practice. Have fun...

my first grow and my flower tray has 5 strains, the herijuana x trainwreck is responding particularly well in the sog set up. I also have a super silver haze cross. It too loves it, they both like heavier nutes than the locally bred strains im growing. It is however heavy sativa so its tall. It towers over my sog canopy. I took a shit load of clones of her tho so i may dedicate a 4' 4' tray with 1k hps to just the sshaze. From what i see i'd use a bit more indica strain for first time they are nice and manageable. gl!

Great yielder and top, no, tiptop smoke. Easy to grow, though I agree with above posts, about having some experience beforehand. I'd find some bagseedd and experiment with germination first. Throw bagseed plants away and grow some dank SSH (mr nice for me). 3 phenos from the crops i've grown from seed and all 3 excellent. It's an uplifting high, mostly head to start, but spreads to body and can overpower if smoked too much. One bong is good for me for several hours.
