I veg'd my KM for about a month then it took about 10 days of 12/12 to show sex. I did not clone mine.

how tall was it after a month?

I used a product called bushmaster 3 weeks into veg to keep the height down. I think it was about 16 inches give or take after a month.
KM grows quick and I didnt have the room or space in my cab or to deal with a tall plant.

Has anyone here who has tried Kali Mist, smoked of grown any of these strains: Mango Haze, Super Silver Haze, NL5 Haze, Jack Herer? If so, how would you compare Kali Mist?

I'm looking around for which strains to grow for my first grow, one of which I want to be predominantly sativa.

Guakamoly Kali Mist can be a long flowering plant depending on the pheno - mine takes ~18 weeks. It's a lot of time to wait for your first grow, if you do grow KM consider a second faster flowering strain to grow along side.

If you'd like some options for shorter flowering sativas start a seperate thread with that title (so we don't gum up SilverMeMembers' report thread) in the Seed and Strain Reviews section and I'll kick in a few suggestions to get the thread started.

Include the type of high/stone you want as well - energizing/sedative; head/body; calming/anxiety/tripy; duration; potency - all day head stash or couch lock; onset - immediate or creeper; etc.

This tread has been insanely helpful. I have heard good things about Serious Seeds, and if a breeder can settle on just 5 strains to cultivate and offer, they must be the best that they have ever encountered. I may just have to make the room for a Kali Mist girl in my flowering jungle/room.
I also have a couple of questions about the strain, if anyone has any input.
How well do you think a newbie smoker would be able to handle the effects? Would it come on too fast or racey? Are there any signs of paranoia or overanalysis that might not be desirable for helping depression/anxiety? If grown longer than recommended by the breeder, does the high take on a more sedative aspect or does it stay clear and functional? I ask because a good female friend wants to try cannabis after having a previous bad experience, and this sounds like the one to start them on again. If it really is as wonderful as people say, it would be worth growing this plant just for her.

Great. It's very potent but it's a relaxing, almost trance-like if you over indulge, not trippy or couch lock.

No. The closest type of high I can relate it to is pecoset. Kali Mist is like an up-opiate.

Completely the opposite. Cut's through anxiety. Changes mood from depression to bliss.

Yes, all strains will become more sedative if let go 100% amber. It's not as clear headed as Serious Bubblegum but it is functional and social if taken in moderation.

It should help with PMS but from what I've read women love this strain because, among other effects, it helps relieve menstrual cramps - very well.
