Thumbs up Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 GHS
Strain: Arjan's ultra Haze #1 Purchased 2 feminized seeds through Pick n' Mix

Growth: Very Hearty and vigorous all through Veg. It suffered some sort of burn (nute\ph) that slowed down flowering even more. harvested day 105 of 12\12 (thats 15 WEEKS!) In the Greenhouse video on youtube they harvest at 12 weeks, but even under ideal conditions thats really early on this girl (at least the pheno i got) The buds never really filled out like i hoped they would, but this was my first pure-ish sativa so its all new to me. Lots of foxtailing late into flower.

Nutes: Holland's secret 3-part +carbo-blast & The Heavies In Promix HP

Yield: 40 grams dry off 1 plant from seed. Could be more with some topping & training.

Bag Appeal: Pretty poor. The buds are sparse and the trics are very small.
Smell: Pine-sol. Lemony, very piney. Quite pungent, but not in the skunky way i'm used to.

Taste: I Haven't fully cured this bud yet so i can't make a complete appraisal of the flavour. Based on what i've smoked though, i'd say much like the smell, very pine-ey, pretty sharp and citrusy. But right now super grass-ey as well due to freshness. Very different from the weed i'm used to, but all in all delicious.

The High: Here is where that loooong flowering time and poor bag appeal is forgotten. On the greenhouse website, they say this stuff is rocketfuel, and its no joke. THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING HIGH!! Very clear, very "trippy". I smoked a joint of this stuff and Talked my ass off like i was high on cocaine. Its a happy, energetic stone. The burnout it pretty light and doesn't leave you with a headache. Just fantastic!

Comments:I can see why this won the CC last year. I don't grow commercially, but if I did, this wouldn't be the strain for me. It takes forever to flower and it doesn't have the tight, frosty looks of big money strains, but this will be in my garden for a long time.

Ain't she cute?

Thats pretty much it. I'd be happy to answer any questions and all comments good or bad, are welcome.

Yeah, nice report Spruce.
Enjoy your smoke.

This 'foxtailing' or stretching, you speak of is pretty bad.
I've seen this on some occasions and it can be related to a number of things.
Light intensity? Lack of lumens?
Incorrect balance of light spectrums? (need more blue, too much red and yellow) What lights do you grow with?
An interrupted, or not quite total dark cycle?
Heat stress? Light too close etc.

Could it have anything to do with these things I've mentioned?
Is this the only time you've had this problem?

Just interested mate, let me know.

As i stated, i had some burn on the plants (ph related) and i set them back a fair bit, so that explains the flower stretch.
Its certainly not lack of light, she was under 1000w hps the duration of flowering. It seems to be isolated to this peticular strain, which makes sense as all my others are indica leaning plants.
In any event i'm not too worried about it, I was just getting my sativa feet wet so i'm sure i did some foolish shit, but these things have a way of fixing themselves the second time through.
peace.

Trich's are always very small, that is why you need a microscope or powerful magnifying glass or something like that to check their color.

Did you mean the calyx hairs are very small?
