Hello RIU members,

We are looking for some members who want to help our forums in an extraordinary way. We realize that our community is mostly self-policed, and all of our members are constantly trying to fix mistakes and improve our site. We thank everyone for that! What we are looking for are those members who want to help a little more.

We are changing the way that we moderate our forums. For the past 5 years, we have had several Global Moderators to handle all of the forums. I was the first one, and we have had several that have come and gone since then. Now we have Ella Jean and MaryJaney working as Global Mods, and they will be assisted by a legion of new Forum Mods. These new mods will be members who want to help the Rollitup community by overseeing the threads and posts in their favorite forum. They will have added abilities in that forum only, and can help to keep our forums the best on the internet.

If you would like to help by moderating a forum, please post here and tell us how you would make a good mod, and why you want to be one. We will choose some worthy candidates, and you will be given access to the Staff Forum where you will be able to discuss your new duties. We are planning on starting Sept 1st with the first of the new Rollitup Forum Mods.

i wouldn't mind throwing my hat into the ring for the seed bank and strain reviews as pretty much everyone has seen my stockpile of beans and i think that i've ordered seeds from just about every place on earth that sells them...
i think i'd be good at the job as i'm very knowledgeable in this area and try and help others who are in need of help in this section all of the time..
been a member here for about three years or so as well..

i would love to be a mod. not only would i weed out the trolls and spammers but also try to keep the negativity down and use info down on here. i dont mind if im not chosen but i think i could help and i am on here pretty often and i love it here.

I would be honored to be given the privilege to assist in the growth of the RIU community. Being well versed in the Terms of Use of the website, I would make an excellent moderator to keep the site in order and towards the goals of the site. Knowing the community well, it would be a great opportunity to offer my assistance to the website and assist those who are navigating it. What I can bring to the website? I have been a valued member among my peers who are very supportive of my interests in improving the standards of the RIU community. My insight and added value to new members or people inquiring into the community can only improve with time which I have plenty of. I am on daily wanting to keep the topics/forums steadily flowing with fresh helpful information. I appreciate the opportunity to apply as a Moderator to the RIU community and ask that my application be fairly considered amongst the other candidates. well for some reason my post is gone, but i did say i think i fit the position, i would like to see alot less spam, bickering and useless info on here, and make it easy for new growers to get GOOD info about growing good pot. id also like to see trolls go away. i dont mind if im not chosen but i think id be a good candidate, i am on ere alot every day and always see stuff that should be gone that just isnt being done by other mods. and no offense to any mods but some of them seem to be on power trips and do stupid things like causes drama and then ban who ever joins in
