Aussie Grower - Needing Help / Feedback On Getting Seeds Into Brisbane

Hello RollItUp,

I'm new to the whole growing game and have built my first six barrel deep water culture system, with this built naturally i went and ordered my new strains.

This was done through Herbies, and by far i've had the best support and communication with them, at first it rolled on a UK bank holiday, which delayed my postage they advised they were sorry for this and threw in some free samples, they then dispatched it on the 10th of May.

I've not received them yet and i fear they've fell victim to what most suspect is a dodgey postal worker ID'ing the stealth packages and pinching them, my package has been sitting in the below status for over a week now and I've received nothing.




As always Herbies have supported me the entire time, they've advised me that QLD is a bitch to get beans into and advised i send them to an out of state friend, i'd love to do that but have no friends with balls big enough to send using Australia Post, even after i tell them that no local sent mail is scanned etc.

None the less Herbies have been so supportive they've advised they can resend it and add on a few beans for the trouble, they advised i figure out what i need to do in order to get them into Brisbane, otherwise i'm just wasting their time and my own time.

So my question for RollItUp are listed below.


  1. Should i listen to the rumors and have my beans non-stealth in attempt to not get them ID'd?
  2. Can anyone here recommend any other way to get beans in Brisbane?
  3. Could anyone provide me a postal forwarding service from another state? *You'll be paid for this service by Paypal or direct bank deposit, what ever suits you.*
  4. Is there any way at all to get beans into Brisbane or from Brisbane?

This is my first post and not my last, i plan to make threads in the future with instructables and growth progress threads, looking forward to it, i just need to get my beans flowing, which right now isn't happening.

If you have anything that could help me please post it in this thread so i can see it and maybe others in my position can see it.

I'm getting my resend sent to a mates in VIC bro. Never have trouble getting beans down there. Your best bet is to try just regular mail as I hear most people are getting there orders through (95%). I got a few orders through this way a few years back, but I then moved to vic and never had a problem with express post, I have since moved back to QLD and it's a fucking joke up here.

Give the regular mail a try and see how you go. I know it's hard trying to get shit sent to friends place and my mate is helping me out just this once. So I will using regular mail shortly as well.

Thanks for your help Wahoo, ideally i've not got the option to send to mates in VIC, so i'm stuck with Brisbane, i'm more or less hoping that someone posts here or emails me on how to get seeds in BNE or better yet how their experience was with regular post as of recent, and even better if someone could provide a forwarding service for me.

Honestly we have been doing this for years. we post our experiences so others have a better chance of success .. Read the threads and you will see them.. We don't make it up to thwart others ..

Plus you can still have stealth by normal mail.. .I'm not gona post methods which were used but get a 5 pack of advanced seeds from herbies , the seed depot or attitude as they are realitively cheap and decen uaez

Nice to know it worked for you but I think the guy actually wants to know the stuff you don't wanna write down, like methods, so I'd say your comments are seriously of limited use to the poor chap. Why say anything if you're not willing to help man?

Couldn't agree more KushKrew, but i understand where Super Smoker is coming from in-regards to keeping his methods quiet and this is why i've provided my email.

I've been having nothing but issues with Stealth/Tracked, do i send it un-tracked regular post stealth, or send it regular post without stealth but have tracking, just looking for a little more information that's all.

I've gone as far as getting a mail forwarder in Melbourne usually used by offices or people on holidays, basically i get the seeds sent to Melbourne they actually arrive rather than disappearing in Brisbane and then they are forwarded to me via local internal Australia mail which won't touch customs.

It seems fool proof, but who knows, i'll be sure to keep everyone up to date.

So please if anyone could post anymore information or help me out in regards to sourcing this stuff in Brisbane, that'd be awesome - [email protected]

Go with untracked stealth ... I'm not going to post the banks methods but all you need to ask them is to send it stealth untracked unregistered and they will know what to do.
Last time i posted actual specific details parcels stopped arriving so if u want info pm me for specific info

Also don't get a resend sent to same address ..If the address on first send has been flagged you won't get another parcel.and you won't get the resend because of the flagging .

Order something legitmate online from the country your beans are coming from before you order seeds cause if that goes thru sweet u are likely to not have your beans flagged as u have had a legitimate parcel come through to that address

Customs does check mail inside australia coming from a couple of states only ... Some parcels from south oz are checked and tasmania

Ill help ya out with some beans ..... What are you specifically looking for ? Ie fems , autos or regs ? Shoot me a pm or post back what you want and ill try help you out ... You will have to turn on your pm and provide me with an address as i wont use email or any other way to keep it safe as possible for me.
If you are looking for a specific breeder or strain ill order them and forward them on if i can .... Just let me know.

Thanks again for helping out, i'll take up your offer for sure, I'm currently looking for autos/fems, they'll all be going under my DWC setup, i understand your concern for privacy, if you can help me get my private messaging enabled it'd be highly appreciated, otherwise you can always get me here.

I really feel for you man, I am in the USA and having trouble getting my beans. Why is Australia so hard on this? I have heard numerous people talking about how getting beans into AUS is damn near impossible. Hoping everything goes well for you! I know how you feel, as I am in a similar situation at this time!
