I thought about ordering from Castle a couple of times. Both times i went to order, i remember their selection was a bit lacking and If i remember correctly their prices were just a touch higher and their promos/freebies were not appealing.

Please correct me if i am wrong. I would hate to be missing out on some killer deals!

How were the freebies?

They say cheapest on the internet [delivered price] and they were very gracious with me beating a price I quoted from attitude .Castle do not offer freebies to my knowledge. They offer seeds from most seed banks and they sell all of those in a pack or individual seeds. and fast service.. I get mine in under 10 days.

Yep, figured i was wrong! Haha.... Been over a year since i contemplated ordering from them, and have had 15 or so orders from 5+ different banks since thrn. I knew there was something that turned me off from ordering - no freebies!

I M O Freebies are good ,however marketing plays the game here. Have you really got free seeds that turned out better than
what you ordered ? I have received freebies, some good ,none great, and some little light green ones that as expected from the questionable appearance, did not have a chance in hell of popping . besides shipping is usually costly So FREE is now out the window.,Castle offers free guaranteed shipping when over $50.00 [ Canadian]. I'm only trying to help you not plug Castle seeds, but I have learned the hard way. Concentrate on buying quality genetics and don't let the freebies cause you much excitement. They usually are older stock. Think. They want your sale. In a very competitive business. if they offer to throw in some free ones with a payment . then it works for them. But they are not really free. The 20 or so you pay on shipping is a bit inflated ,that goes toward your FREE SEEDS. I hope this helps you.
Homer Dog agrees. Let us know.

At first, I took your post as an insult: like you were questioning my intelligence and felt the need to educate me. The fact is, this is not my first rodeo! I have been ordering seeds for years and have placed 20+ orders from a half dozen seedbanks in the past 2 years alone!

After I first read it yesterday, I began typing a typical smart-assed quirky response. I then erased it and chose not to respond at first. I came back and re-read it and I feel I may have taken it out of context a little.

I do believe that you were genuinely trying to help me. (I know that you werent giving Castle a plug). You gave great advise for someone that is just getting started or going to place their first order. And I agree, it is very sound advise to give a new grower.

At the same time, it is a matter of opinion. Your opinion is that you dont put emphasis into freebies. I respect that. But on the other hand, for me freebies are important and will pursuey my ordering habbits. To me, paying a few extra dollera in order to get 10 extra beans is well worth it. I like the variety.i like the fact that i will get a particular strain or something from a particular breeder that I would typically never buy. And yes, I have placed future orders based off of the results of growing out freebies. I just keep my eye out and schedule my orders around the time of a killer promo. My last order at the 'tude came with 14 freebies. I have already grown or are growing (9 of them) them now with 100% germination and even found a keeper!

And to answer another of your questions - try placing an order from the breeders boutique and you will find that their freebies are better then most strains you can even buy at most seedbanks! They give you equal amount of freebies to the amount you purchase!

Soooo to sum up this novel: No hard feelings. I respect your opinion, it is good/sound advise for a new grower. But if you grow as many plants and order as many times as I do, then maxamizing your freebies is the way to go... I LOVE FREEBIES!!!

VERY NICE.. Correct I thinking that you were new. but that was the fella who startedo the post. My apologies.that advice is only my opinion which I stated in my most recent letter [Imo ].........don't get me wrong ,I also order according to the when bigger promo's scheduled such as Attitude's Dec promo. but I missedit and like you say this one was 8 free plus the 5 from UFO'S ,I would have received ,I was bummed. So you have been around.i thought that u were trying out different banks and that u were a newbie hence ,that advice, But does not apply in your case, sorry.. I have ordered from a few banks and have shelled out hundreds. attitude I trust with their freebies after they made good on the duds.

Wow .I never checked out Breeders Boutique until now. Prices are the same low price on every strain. Going to place my next seed order with them. They don't mention the freebies, but If I order a 10 pack, they give you 10 free ones ?. Thanks for the great info !
