Just trying to make sure I understand this. Did the police say that they got your info from the seedbank, and then checked your credit card records?

Or did your credit card company alert them for some reason?

Either way, that is enough to keep me from recommending this company. I am just trying to figure out as many specifics as possible to help other people avoid ending up in your situation.

I still don't really understand why the canadian police would put that kind of effort into this. From what I have read, it's usually it's because of pressure from the american govt that this sort of thing happens. In this case, the seed bank wasn't shipping to usa. That's what has me confused. Not doubting your story, I don't see what you gain from lying.

I was going to make a small($40) cash order from them to see how good they are, and then just storing the seeds for a bit until I know everything is alright. That way if the police do come to my door, nothing is going on anyway so they'll have to go away, hopefully. I was REALLY surprised to hear that this happened to you in Canada, I mean you weren't growing a thousand plants or anything, so it is kind of strange. I've heard they don't usually bother with personal 2-3 plant grows.

I just got in my seed from Canada from Vancouver Island Seed co. and I live in USA. I just posted a seed bank review on them.

This is looking like a hit and run to me now guys. Sorry for feeding the troll. I tried to give the new guy the benefit of the doubt. Ended up looking like a sucker.

To order from them all you do is go to their website ( Vancouverseed.com ) and navigate to the page with the descriptions and prices. Then at the bottom of page click on order form. Print out the form, fill in your order , decide your payment option (cash or moneyorder) fill in all the delivery info and send it to the address shown. If you are in the USA you will have to take it to the post office in person. The post office does not ask you for ID or any personal info. Just routine post 9-11 questions. I just told them is was documents....thats it.

OH great thanks a bunch, all of their strains look really good, and the 15 free seeds really got my attention

these guys have sub-cool strains now I guess that means all of the single sites have them now.
