ive grown c99x grapefruit and it was garbage.shitty fluffy buds no taste no yeild and they suck to work with cause they like to grow verry tall and lanky.Imo c99 is all hype for middle grade weed.Its not even close to kind bud

Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinions but I don't think you can honestly judge an entire strain based on a cross strain from someone other than the original breeder. You may have just had a bad seed or had some bad enviromental conditions during your grow or maybe that version of that cross is just crap.

i think it was just the cross my enviroment is awesome.Your right about judging the strain based on a cross but i had the orginal a few years back and honestly wasnt that impressed.i got a freebee pack of 10 c99x gf and got 7 girls. there were two distinct phenos. the one i decribed above as crap and the other made bigger denser flowers.and actually tasted like c99 sorta like vanilla extract with a sweet and spicy undertone.The high was sorta racy verry sativa driven.but verry potent.I prefer the nice relaxing qualities of a superb indica.Its funny cause i grow alot of sativa influenced hybrids.But i finally wised up and got some l.a. confidental beans and some heavy duty fruity beans.The l a is 100% indica the hdf is a hybrid but acording to the leaves its a indica dominant.Nice fat leaves

i'm thinking of getting l a confidential, how would you rate the smoke? i just bought some chemdog dd seeds today. i got the hightimes mag with the first kush cup in Vegas in it and they had a entry for la that looked pretty good and placed well also.
