i grow normal seeds, but for the next grow ill have space limitations so im debating it

I personally think they are worth the extra cost. If you have space restrictions they are perfect because you may only want to have two plants. In order to find two females you would have to start five or so seeds to work averages and have two laydees. It cuts out the guesswork and if you arent good at sexing plants there is no risk of pollination. For my very very first attempt at growng i had 4 lowryder 2 seeds. Out of the 4 the only female was the runt and it is so disappointing to have to throw out 3 healthy good plants because there male.
Just my opinion but also see they are rather more expensive

im growing with feminized seeds at the mo and i have had no probs.. i also diidnt wan t to waste space with the males..
there is a highher risk of hermi with feminized thats the only negitive i think and the higher price aswell, but we will get over that ..
what u planning on growing??

i think its good cuz you can plan how many you want to harvest and/or clone. and have it all set up for wen u need it.

Well, out of 10 normal seeds, you would average 5 males. Out of 10 feminized seeds, you probably wouldn't have 5 hermies unless you did something wrong. If you don't stress them, you should get almost no hermies. Even if you got one or two hermies for every 10 seeds, it seems like it would be worth it. You actually end up saving money in the end, when you add up the costs of soil, nutrients, pots, space (therefore lumens, therefore electricity $$), and everything else that get's wasted on the plants that turn male before you end up throwing them out. My first few seed orders were just for the regular ones, and If you wan't to do any breeding then of course don't buy feminized. But after I got good breeding stock, everything since then has been Feminized and I think it is actually gonna be saving me money pretty soon. The cost of feminized is usually outweighed pretty quickly by the cost of growing plants that turn male, and don't get used for breeding purposes.
I've heard that Greenhouse offers "hermie free" feminized. I figured out the process to do this, but it is long and i dont wanna take up any MORE space than this post already is. Anyway, since they won't even answer e-mails from the US, I have no way of confirming that. I'll be trying out some Hawaiian Snow Feminized after this current grow, I'll let you know. Also will have some Big Bang fem and Himalaya Gold fem that will be ready at the end of summer. Sorry I can't tell you any more till then, lol. Anyway, this is just my opinion, hope it helped.
