you must remember this is america; pretty packaging is percieved as quality...some of the best weed i have ever smoked looked "normal".



on another note... i believe purple is one of the most common colors in cannabis besides green; and like someone above stated, cold temps can/will bring out purple in some buds; some will not though.

its not all about color, but who wouldent want purple bud? i mean it looks HOT. and strays from just ur basic : D

when purple haze was in it's hay day in 03'-04' it set the standard. i can't speak about anybody elses purple haze but, the shit that was in Harlem was what some people call two hitta quitta. smoking that shit consistently boosted my tolerance into Olympic proportions. with what people refer to as the fuel smell of sour d, nowadays, is what purple haze had years before. i can't speak for all them other purple strains but, purple haze had and has the look and definitely the potency.

Was it the real purple haze, I hear its not around and died in the 70's

I have seen the purps, royal purps, mendo purps, purple passion, true purple, Purple skunk, Purple kush, purple trainwreck, goofy grape(really nice) Grape ape, Purple erkle, grandaddy purple, and purple haze.

One of my favorite strains is purple passion... very very clear high.

Blue dragon is one of my favorite colored strains. I have heard so much back and forth about this strain, yet I never see it and most people have never heard of it. Sativa dominant. Blue as blueberry. I have been told it is a dutch dragon white rhino cross.

the grandaddy purple I grew was in a relatively warm room so it never was exposed to much cold temperatures, but the strength or purple erkle and the density of big bud.... Really nice strain.

Purple kush is a really knockout indica. Turns a pretty purple.

I knew clubs that would soak a sample bud in a wet paper towel to see if it had been dyed. I have seen vendors do it. Lol
