Grape Ape vs. The Purps

Hey Everyone. I have heard a lot about purple buds lately. I am trying to decide between ordering The Purps beans or getting some Grape Ape clones from a friend. Anyone tried smoking/growing either? I am curious about them. I was able to find info on the purps, but not too much about Grape Ape. Thanks for any thoughts!

if you order the purps from seed you won't be getting pure purps, you'll be getting a purps hybrid. I'd go with the ape because it's a clone. I'm sure it would make it better to see the buds of the plant that the clone was coming from.

purple this purple that. it is all the same thing. tastes like dirt and flowers. i hate purple.

fdd2blk, I know you hate the purple this and that. I think you mentioned it tasted grandma-ish or something to that effect- like it tastes as you would imagine the color purple tasting. I have not tried it, but that is what is really popular in my area. So, I had to ask. I am going to try it today and I shall see for myself what all the hoopla is about.

it is good. here and there. last time i went into the 2 different clubs i frequent that's all they had. 10 different flavors of purple. i just don't get it. why not 1 or 2 then qa bunch of other stuff? nope just pur[le, purple, purple. i know that's what everyone likes but guess what? i'm not everyone.

try it, you will like it. i did. for a few months. it's been flooded here for 3 years now. enough already.

It is a fad. It is in all the rap songs and you have to admit, when you get the really purple buds, they look cool. They have awesome bag appeal. But yes, the whole purple thing is WAY over rated. There are so many awesome strains that are many different colors.

I've had buds that were close to the color of hay before. Honest to god it was some of the best weed i've ever brought into my lungs. It really made the delicious, juicy trichomes stand out. Thankfully it tasted like some kind of alien fruit, not hay.

I love some purple every now and then, i actually really like that purple/lavender taste, but i honestly prefer blueberry or something really hashy tasting
