Hello Everyone, I'm a new hydroponic enthusiast and I plan on starting a garden sometime in the near future but want to be as prepared as possible to minimize noobie mistakes. I still have much to learn and alot of questions to ask, but the first is about the most important thing, seeds. I've decided I want to use feminised seeds, but only if I'm confident they'll germinate into stable females. If not, then I'll buy normal seeds and sort. Is it worth paying the extra money for feminsed seeds? Meaning, if they germinate is it at least 90% sure they'll grow into strong, seedless females?

I also hear that sometimes feminized seed varieties can produce a higher yeilding, more potent plant. Is this true?

all feminized seeds are is seeds that will most likely be females but their is always a risk of hermi's due to evironmental factors, they don't make a better plant. if you plan on growing from seed each time then i'd order feminized, but if you plan on growing one mother and doing clones you can do that with regular seeds.

feminised seed is worth it if you got your setup to the T. if there are possibility of stress they might go hermi.I just order some fem bean to test out. Update u on my sex ratio

Thanks for quick and helpful replies. I don't want to start with clones, but if I did want some for the future I'd like the option of picking it off the strongest, biggest, baddest mother out of a batch of different females.
