You're absolutely right, seeds (at the moment) are perfectly legal in the UK and are sold as 'souvenirs' but it is not legal to germinate them. Whether the status quo will continue however is the subject of some debate and I hear on the grapevine there's some noises that seed sales will become illegal, when or if this might happen - who knows.

To answer the original question, it is illegal to buy seeds in the US, it is illegal to buy seeds from overseas and import them into the US and by association, anyone selling or sending the seeds into the US are equally culpable of illegal acts as the person buying them.

There's an interesting case going on at the moment with Marc Emery, the Canadian Cannabis activist, who is fighting extradition to the US on charges of 'Conspiracy to traffic Cannabis seeds' and faces a prison sentence of 10 years to life.

There was a site that puts them in a vacuum tight plastic bag and ships them under another name (or no return address). If you were to mail them yourself I would suggest maybe putting them in clothing, a pocket of some sort, or some kind of carrying case.

HELL NO you get caught with seeds (tenn its 10 years) it'll be vacation time FED.Cal. you can get lic to grow. and a lic to smoke. you need a care giver so you want abuse the smoke..

..check out state laws. there are 12 states that has medicanal laws .pull up this site it will tell every thing you need to know Medical Marijuana ProCon.org rodeisland has recently been add as a med state....I'm a medicinal user myself. add $1.14 to the Euro To find out your info go to either yahoo or net zero.

There are plenty of places that are good that do send seeds to the US.

PayPal isn't allowed anywhere for seeds, that's their policy...of course a seed selling individual might take it for some seeds, but not any business.

If you have a female plant, there are several avenues to make your own "feminized" seeds. Much easier and cheaper than you would think.

Law on Seeds? , Dude, I'd never spend my money on feminized seeds, just my 2 cents worth. Also, you may want to PM NGT, he certainly could help you out.

Exactly what I'm saying, videoman. You can easily and cheaply make your own.

But I'm interested in your seeming bias against "feminized" seeds. Do you know exactly what they are?
