Default top quality hazes, thais & jacks etc. that are 12 weeks or less?

i have 3 favorite "indoor hazes" i'm looking to improve on with more refined ones that might be out there. my favorite so far is TGA's jack's cleaner 2 with a warm euphoric touchy feely buzz with sensory effects. i like high quality seeds' haze x skunk for a very potent clear headed motivational buzz with some psychoactivity and that's long lasting with high tolerance. it's good meds for tuning pain out too. then i like DNAs nice and fruity sweet haze that's like a true haze. it's just that much fruitier and even has more psychoactivity than many similar fruity strains with only slight hints of catpiss. that one is more of what i'd expect a haze to be like than other strains.

these days, anything can be a haze, so i just use the term to mean sativa dominant. the amnesia haze i grew by rokerij had about nothing to do with actual haze though it was fruity and hazelike.

what are the very best haze type strains that you've grown that are doable in 12 weeks or less? i'm not looking for the most productive strains, just whatever has the best THC profile and flavor. i'm especially interested in fruity hazes, especially if they have juicy fruit thai flavors. i'm also really interested in strains that aren't fruity but are peppery like kali mist used to be before it had a fruity strain dilute it's flavor. i'm not looking for stinky strains at all or less than delicious flavor traits like cat piss, rotting fruit, baby crap or diesels etc. lemon always sounds nice to me.

sannies' jack & lemon thai are on my shopping list. euphoria & sensory effects are favorites. what have you tried that stands out as better than average gear? i'm also interested in DNA's chocolope & cannalope hazes. i'm looking for top quality smoke to try and breed for flavors like SOMA's sour cherry buddha's sister. a nice light sweet flavor like melon would be a nice match i'd imagine.

what would you say is top quality and worthy of breeding with?

Jack's Cleaner 2, Sweet Haze, Haze x Skunk & 8 Miles High are all much fun, but fluffy, fuzzy 1985 Columbian Gold popcorn's that trippy! Thai? Malawi Gold? Mekong Haze (Cambodian)? Don't know.

hazy did u check out sannis shackzilla? i got one going from the femmed mix pack that i got awhile back. i gotta say that im very impressed with the way this plant grows. she is on wk 8 right now, and she is gonna be some nice hazy smoke for sure. it haze that classic haze smell to it, with a hint of fruit. i cant really describe the smell, but she is definately worth having. she definately took on the ssh side, cuz she looks white as hell. to make it even better is that shes a above average yielder. some where i saw on sannies site that its his most stable fem he has. i ordered some more shackzilla with some hercules just cuz i only have 1 shackzilla bean left. gotta have some back ups u know. this will be my first time smoking it, and i hope it is as good as it looks.

brainstorm haze, idk why you want a long flowering sativa though... there are shorter flowering sativas with better yield and comparable highs.

that is the crux of the biscuit, 'comparable highs'
12 weeks isn't bad, i had an 'indica' that took 12 weeks of flower to get to its sweetest ripeness
but there are 16 week, 20 week, and worse out there, which is getting pretty crazy
i know what i've experienced with hybrids, and have the memory of sativa's from 30 years ago
the hybrids have power, no argument there, but not all of the sweetness

i'm considering satori, but i just don't like the name. 8 miles high is a favorite though... very nicely balanced and functional.

there are some very nice 9 week strains out there for sure. some of the best stuff takes longer. i'm not looking for top yields. shackzilla doesn't sound too interesting to me. i'd rather go from jacks to hazes than the more indica route with shackzilla & SSH. besides, i'll be starting with indica dominant buddha's sister for a cherry thai 2.0, so more IBL leaning strains are a better start instead of watered down genes. i'll be using BS as "afghani" with more IBL leaning haze type strains. i wanted to do the same with cali-o but it appears that's too skunky to start with for an orange haze.

white strains don't impress me. i like fluffy buds that are easy to break apart the most really. bag appeal traits are just indica hype to me. white strains are also known for trading flavor and smoothness for extra THC weight. good columbian gold buds that might look weak and fluffy are more potent than needed.

i'm liking the possibility of using lemony african malawi gold for hazes as it's newer genetics & less polluted by afghani and it shouldn't dominate in a flavor strain cross.

on the productive end of fruity hazes, john sinclair's sativa trans love has a nice enough average haze high, but it buds like crazy as soon as you flip it. DNA's stretchier sweet haze is better quality overall though. if i want to breed my own gear to my standards, it's best to start with the purest or best selected haze genes. i'm thinking cannalope haze might be about the best fruity haze for matching with tart cherry flavor.

super silver haze is heading into the wrong direction to me. if anything, i'm trying to breed something better than super silver by starting with fresh IBL dominant genes. i guess the best thing to do would be to just hit up a bunch of the best stuff i have with buddha's brother and select for the best synergies. (sweet haze x buddha's sister) x sweet haze would have to be nice at the very least. (cannalope x BS) x cannalope sounds potentially better as well as lemony (malawi x BS) x malawi. trying to keep the indica content under 25%

i bet some breeder has a fruity haze as good as sweet haze or even better. unless anyone can recommend a really nice haze, the buddha's sister crosses would look something like
    x buddha's sister male
    jack's cleaner 2
    malawi gold
    sweet haze
    sweet haze x (C99 x A11)
    C99bx x (C99 x A11)
    sour cream x (C99 x A11)
    STL x (C99 x A11)
    masterkush (red pheno) x (C99 x A11)
    haze skunk x C99

    and possibly:
    malawi gold x (C99 x A11)
    JC2 x (C99 x A11)
    haze skunk
    blueberry x C99
    STL
jack (CH9 low odor & indy growth habit)
    jack 33
    sannies' jack
    pineapple express
    &
*chocolope & *cannalope haze are on my shopping list

sour cream x buddha's sister would be a really tasty med use strain. i hope some of it's flavor gets preserved in my cindy apollo cross.

maybe i should just try crossing it with durban poison. sickeningly sweet black licorice and sour cherry could make something different. it'd be hysterical if it tasted like red vines.

all those times people have told me i should try amnesia this or that haze, i expected a more lively discussion here. at least i know a few really good strains that smoke close enough to IBL quality.

a friend of mines goes to jamaica once a year, and always comes back with a bunch of seeds, of all differant kinds of strains. some of the best shit i grew last year came from those seeds. i planted 7 seeds 4 were female n 3 were male. those were the fucking tastiest buds of last year. i had 2 of those girls reeked like pineapple/mango and tasted just like it too. the other 2 were a fruity haze, with maybe like a hint of melon. the only thing that may discurage me from popping some more is these fucking plants are extremly difficult to grow indoors. i had to feed like once every week and 1/2 or 2. very very finneky plants with massive stretching. they were all hybrids, and i was thinking that they were gonna be some crazy sativas but i was wrong. this leads me to wonder if these guys in jamaica by seeds from seed banks to cross into there sativas or genetics were brought from some where else, and little by little the true sativa is dissapearing in jamaica.

jamaica landraces have been long gone for quite some time. they didn't yield very well and were replaced by heavier producing indicas since they brought in more money for them.
