Smoke Report: Blueberry from Peak Seeds

I just smoked my first blueberry last night from my grow. First of all I want to say that I was more than impressed with the deal I got on my seeds. I grew these in a soil mix of Fox Farms Happy Frog, MG Organic Growers Choice, perlite, dolomitic lime, bone meal and blood meal. They were very healthy, hardy plants, grew to a modest average height of about 30" in my grow box and chopped after 60 days flowering. The buds were solid and firm with loads of beautiful amber trichs. The branches and colas were hung from twine in an outdoor shed, very cool and dry. After a week and the branches could be bent but not broken completely, they were brought inside to cure. After curing came the job of gently breaking off the dry nugs from the branches. I was disappointed with the yield but I have to say it was significantly more than the "Big Bud" I also grew. The smoke was so smooth I doubted that I had actually gotten much smoke on the first hit. I was shocked when I exhaled and saw just how much smoke I had taken in from the pipe. I only took two hits; from what I had heard this was supposed to blow your head off. I've smoked pot that would rip your head off from one or two tokes but this didn't do that. Tonight I'm going to fill a bowl and smoke all of it and see how it goes. The two tokes last night gave me a happy, relaxed mood, sort of a creeper and lasted til after I went to sleep, gave me sweet dreams. I think the smoothness of the smoke is the most important and remarkable thing about this blueberry. I'm looking forward to more tonight!

They are very nute sensitive and a little fussy to grow for a first timer like me but I did it. Best of luck to you!

how did the taste end up? and the smell?

blueberry i have had in the past has tasted and smelled like blueberries, so i'm curious if it is always that way

The taste was very mild but definitely marijuana. The smell was the same too, mild but definitely marijuana.

I grew 5 plants to an average height of 26" or so. There was one little stunted girl that I wasn't expecting anything out of but decided it wouldn't take up much space in the grow box so I threw her in. She hermied on me but I harvested her anyway. I got just a shade over 3 oz dry - very dry. There is so much resin that it's very hard for the stuff to stay lit even with it being very dry. I was disappointed with the yield but I guess I should have either used larger grow bags or vegged longer.

I forgot to post a follow up. The next night I thought it would be a good idea to really hit that thing so I took about 5 tokes (possibly 6 cause by that time I couldn't count anyway). In about 45 minutes I was puking my guts out. I puked 5 times, projectile vomiting, so hard that the little blood vessels in my face were broken the next morning. Looked like I had been bitch slapped but without the hand print. The high wasn't any better just a lot more intense and not nearly as good as just doing two hits - even without the puking.
