Default big buck ($100+) strain wishlists?

there are some really great strains out there you have to spend a few dollars more to get the best or original versions of as well as a few top breeders who charge top dollar for their gear.

what are those $100+ strains you wish you had in your gardens? these are some of the most interesting looking ones going by my tastes & without reading up on everything out there (like maybe someone still has western winds with the pepper flavor intact somewhere). i'd expect most of these to be worthy of testing & breeding. pretend amongst yourselves...

    G13 Haze x Buddha's Sister - SOMA $182
    Kali Mist - Serious $108
Grape Krush - DJ Short $131
    Old Timer's Haze - Ace $135
Granddaddy Purple - Granddaddy Purple $99
Blue Dynamite - Next Generation $101
Ed Rosenthal Superbud - Sensi $208
    Fruity Juice - Sensi $147
    Jack Herer - Sensi $224
    Amnesia Haze - SOMA $256

i actually have 2 G13 haze x buddha's sister beans and a kali mist in my collection. the ideal would be all 3 are still viable and there's one each m&f in the sisters and that the kali is a female. i would like original kali mist more than the mellower fruity re-do out now. there are so many fruity strains out there already. the original flavor was slap ya hard delicious. no pain, no happy brain. i doubt i have an original.

i think it'd be easy to re-engineer a better fruity juice without using afghani and using a fast high leaning strain like C99 or a jack or haze along with a pure tutti fruity highland thai. throw some purple in, and you have ultraviolet haze. is that a cool name, or what? a couple generations with grape krush back crossing to thai would be nice.

Jack's Cleaner 2, Sweet Haze, Haze x Skunk & 8 Miles High are all much fun, but fluffy, fuzzy 1985 Columbian Gold popcorn's that trippy! Thai? Malawi Gold? Mekong Haze (Cambodian)? Don't know.

I would take anything from Peak seeds or Eskobar ahead of almost all those 100 dollar strains.

But I am a pot snob

what do i care about dollars? i just want to smoke better than cash crap. i've found a really nice top 3 strains and bet it'll have to be a top 4 once i try malawi gold.

i guess you'd call my stony grapes and pine bagseed funny money. they were free and worth testing when i get around to a flavor grow. i'm really liking good old lemon myself these days. malawi cleaner anyone? haze skunk cleaner? sour grapes haze? 50 day haze?

the only cleaner i have until bodhi genius is back on shelves is JC2 x C99 x A11 (JCCA112?) it seems like it's been sold out for at least 4 months by now.

i like the nick name seattle for sativa trans-love crosses. seattle slew for grimm crosses? satellite haze?

yeah, dogie's nuts wins the auction at southersby's award for top dollar. has anyone don and DN's crosses yet?

Those expensive strains cost a lot because suckers will pay the price for them. Do yourself a favor, next time you buy an expensive pack, spend 30/40 bucks on a pack from Peakseedsbc and do a comparison, you'll be shocked. Great genetics don't need to be expensive.

my second favorite strain is $28 high quality seeds' haze x skunk. it's super potent, long lasting, and tolerance resistant motiivational fun that would especially appeal to blunt smokers for it's mild cheesy cigar wrapper notes, but the buzz is so medicinal it makes you fast by ignoring hunger & finding something funner or more productive to do.

i agree that the $50 or so and under range is full of top quality gear to satisfy any taste. i don't think too many sativas are going to have as much boundless energy OR blissed out not unlike shroomed out euphoria of kali mist any more than textbook cinderella. good luck finding dr greengenes' original cherrybomb thai. not too many cherry strains out there.

nothing else i've looked at sounds as good a building block for a grape tasting purple tinted haze as shorts' grape krush. i'm not impressed with stony skunk #1 similar blueberry and like hazes to thai better, but grape krush is about ESSENTIAL for next generation purple hazes until someone makes something even closer. TGA's plushberry is a decent next best for exactly that. grape krush is worthy of finding keeper males and females for adding up, grape & purple to whatever. it's totally my kinda blueberry. i bet it could turn out a few super crosses on the way to trippy purple grapes haze 2.

(sweet haze x jack's cleaner 2) x grape krush would not be shabby, i'm sure
purple haze x grape krush might be a nice starter strain too

so many purple strains are indica dominant and grape is a rare flavor. getting that out of a super cali haze UFO under a halide gave me a woody last year. i like grape better than blueberry and the trippiest haze high possible. sweet haze is a good start there. sweet haze x grape krush would be nice. any fruity jack or haze would go nice with the flavor & color selection of that strain. i think i want to get some for 2nd harvest after i get some head stash and jacks cleaner crosses

Who you kidding hazy? You have in the recent past admitted to not hardly smoking anything in the past twenty years other then the nodes from your failed grows?

You might want to take that Grandaddy Purple off your list, it is indica dominate. I am the fool growing it so I can fuse with my couch. Told you man, Panama is all you need.
