would like to hear some experience with this strain. i'm more interested in "IBL" old timer's haze for now even if i'll likely never invest in any.
It's not like granddaddy purp but it is a super fruity strain and easy to grow mind didn't turn purple but it was worth the grow

Jack's Cleaner 2, Sweet Haze, Haze x Skunk & 8 Miles High are all much fun, but fluffy, fuzzy 1985 Columbian Gold popcorn's that trippy! Thai? Malawi Gold? Mekong Haze (Cambodian)? Don't know.
your sopouse to use cooler temps for it to turn purple but is grandaddy purple alot better I know she turns purple on her own plus reg seeds always good I'd like to try making a cross see if I can do good as rare dankness
i got a freebie from attitude its on day 53 now will give it maybe another 10 days its looks and grows more like indi then sat dom haze.
no sign of purple here really dark green though and my nighttime temps are 60, the buds are rock solid like golfballs al the way down. she is very very frosty too, i never cloned her but i would definatly pick up a 5 or 10 pack and grow her again.
Looking forward to smoking this one. Yield is average maybe 30-40 grammes but i only vegged for about 3 weeks under floro and put her in the corner of the flower room
i think u will like it
same with mine. Mine grews indica dom.. with absolutly NOT purple coloring. I have tried to bring the purple out by lowing the temp but didnt work just lush med-dark green leaves with med colored green buds covered in orange hairs. Very nice solid buds was a plus. Im still growing this one but I will probably kill it off in the up coming months because other strains are alot better in quality and quantity. I normally get 1.5oz off 4.5ft plant using 2x400w HPS. Not too bad but not great by any means. I got 2.5oz off of a 2ft Deep Purple Plant and 3oz off of dairy queen that was 3-4ft tall.
Currently In Flowering: Chem Berry, Chernobyl, Cole Train, Kosher Kush, Stacked Kush, Exodus Cheese, CC Buddha Tahoe OG,
not if you live on the east coast where EVERYTHING, and i mean everything is nothing but same old same old afghanicrap and nothing gets you high ANYWHERE.I don't care what it's called, no marijuana strain is worth $30/gram Unless it is fluffed in gold dust or is from Subs personal garden.
i gave up bidding on kali mist after being gifted a gram of version 1.0 at $120 for an eigth, and even then couldn't score! if you will ONLY accept getting high and despise getting stoned with every fiber of your being, you'll pay whatever it takes to get high when it's denied to you otherwise

Just because it`s purple doesn`t mean it`s good. A lot of purple strains were bred for that characteristic and sacrificed potency for this quality. Not all. The legends ie: Purple Haze are rare plants that come out of packs of true haze genetics. Usually not bred for specificity because doing so means you lose other desirable qualities. If you want something good, it takes a lot of time and effort to find it.
I`m gonna guess those g13 purple haze seeds are hybridized garbage that is nothing like the real deal purple haze (which would indeed fetch 30 dollars a gram if it were legit as it is very special, very low yielding and takes a very long time to flower). Original haze used to hit triple digits for lids waaaay back in the day when ounces could be had for 20 bucks of decent mexican or columbian or whatever.
If you want the real deal purple haze I know Tom Hill`s haze genetics are legit, but you will have to sort through a lot of seeds to find that special plant that also has the nice purple coloring. Approximately 5% of phenotypes in his packs are described as electrifyingly cerebral and there is a so called ącid pheno. I have seen pictures from some journals of an almost completely purple plant that was very frosty looking, but also no doubt a terribly yielding plant. Apparently the real deal though. If you are doing this commercially, it is not a good choice unless you have a real specialized market of serious heads with a lot of money willing to pay top dollar for the most impressive dope you can smoke more or less. Remember that many people prefer to be couch locked and would rather not be tripping.
There are many genetic lines that are explicitly purple and temperature has nothing to do with it. Personally I think people who use temperatures to change the color of their bud run the risk of PM as I have seen it happen... PM loves those lower temps.
If you want something that will unquestionably provide you with color and nice high quality sativa leaning smoke - I highly recommend Killing Fields from Sannie. Green phenotypes are rare. Most of them are purple leaning and require no special climate to achieve those colors. Lovely smell and there are high resin production plants to be found, also a good yielding strain.
i have purple haze strain. Yes the color comes out more when the temp is much colder. But I realize the color also has to do with its intake of nutes. Too little nutes it will not be purple at all. You gotta find out what it likes to feed on. If you give it the right feed, it will turn hella purple. from my experience, they don't really like deep water. They grow much better in rockwool, but less yield compare to deep water cycle. If you are just going for yields, then id go with deep water. but if you just want a perfect looking plant with less yield, then rockwool would be the way to go. I don't really know why, but purple haze just dont do too well in deep water. They don't look healthy like other strains does in deep water. On your last 4 weeks of flowering, add about 1ml per 2 gallon of humboldt county GRAVITY in the res, and you'll notice your buds would be hella compact and rock hard instead of them fluffy piece of shit
If you want the real deal purple haze I know Tom Hill`s haze genetics are legit,
tom hill haze? huh? don't know that i've ever heard anything about it, but that acid pheno sounds more like what haze is supposed to be than what passes as haze these days. i'll have to look into that.
for now, even though it isn't a purple strain, DNA genetics sweet haze is my favorite as it surpassed every haze, jack & thai i've tried so far with super sticky buds and at least hints of real psychoactivity along with having a nice fruity flavor with only the slightest hints of catpiss.
will bookmark tom hill's haze for my IBL shortlist along with ace panama & mekong haze (pure cambodian actually) which i'm inclined to give a second try because those tiny beans might have been having even more trouble sprouting than other strains that wouldn't either before i bought a heating mat. i'm really eager to grow my malawi golds out though for now
