Liberty Haze: Barneys Farm

I know its not Liberty Haze, but 4/5 of my BF Vanilla Kush germ'd, all 4 are very similar phenos and healthy so far. Only about 2 months old, gonna be vegging another 2 then flowering. I like the BF strains though I have little experience growing them. Idc about them winning cups though, too much sponsorship involved. My only gripe with BF is that almost every description is similar and claims 20+% thc, short flowering times, solid buds and dense growth. Just seems a little too much marketing for my taste. Other than the bad reviews about Pineapple strains though, there's not much negativity. I'll be sure to post a report when my VK are done

I ordered some laughing buddha and was dissapointed in the beans. They were small, white and immature. There were numerous reports of germination problems when Tangerine Dream hit the market after winning the cup as well as several general complaints over the years. I'm done with companies like Barney's or Greenhouse

I have some of the beans since it won the cup and I think I am gonna try two of five next run and see how its looking

Ive had Lsd and the 5 of them popped up but I really loved the amazing smoke from their hard and hazy buds, we also had critical + and diesel (dinafem), hammerhead (medicalseeds), s.a.d.(sweetSeeds) and lsd really smoked better than others, im waiting for some liberty haze and og kush (dinafem) looking forward to choosing which is di best one haha. I rate barney's. I hope they do well as m.p. Any sugs? We'r probably using big pots with soil,400mh...

I have been thinkin about growing this one. I have grown out there LSD which was very unimpressive but I have heard many good things. I never go by what wins cups or awards since winners are chose by who pays more and advertising, I try to go by grow reports and pics but sometimes like in this case when grow reports and pics are limited I just wait. I cant wait to see how peoples grows of this strain turns out

this may be an old thread but i just want to put my opinion out there.

it saddens me to see so many posts giving negative reviews of this strain when the majority of the posters haven't even tried it.... or if they did it was grown by some novice back here in the states.
I spent a 15 hour layover in amsterdam on my way home from work and the first thing i did was take the train into Centraal.... walked 6 minutes up the road and went into barneys coffee shop. i got 2 grams of the liberty and 1 of the LSD.
i rolled a joint of liberty haze and smoked it right then and there and I gotta say... that shit blew my mind.
it was perfectly cured which isn't something that i can say about most of the other coffee shops in amsterdam. I'm pretty picky about how my buds are cured and I could def. tell that lots of time was put into this strain.
now i can't speak for you guys getting this strain from dealers back home in the states or wherever you are from but I tried it in the same city where it won the cup so for me it was obvious why this strain won. it tasted amazing, the high was extremely long lasting, smell was super strong... etc etc etc. just an all around good strain.

The liberty haze isnt bad i am growing on out and i burned the shit out of it with the Snowstorm foliar feeding it i mean every leaf was yellow and burned but since i only planted one bean and didnt take any clones i decided to leave it go and for it being all burned and yellow its still doing its thing loading on the trichs and the buds are starting to swell the plant really looks shitty from a distance until you get up close to it and look at the buds forming. Smells pretty good the buds when rubbed from the bottom branches has that chemdog smell to it its not the best i have grown because of obvious probs i caused the plant but i wonder what it could have been great side branching like with most sativas this plant would be perfect for a scrog all the branching that shoots off when it goes into flower or just tied down. Next indoor run i will do it again knowing this time that no snowstorm is a good idea or any synthetic nutes for this plant could be too much a very light feeder i wish i would have just went all organic and made some supersoil for this strain. Well theres always next year i wanted to try and run one outdoors but i dont think it would make it to the end up here in Montana.

I'm FINALLY going to see how she does. Out of 4 beans I have had one not germinate at all, one grow to about an inch then die, one that I trashed (it grew and looked like crap. Also grew about 1/4 the speed), and now one beautiful lady. Not impressed so far.
