My mother suffers from horrible migraines. The last one she had left her bed ridden for 5 days and she threw up for 3 of those. They are not always this bad and the medicine she takes helps, but when they do get this bad nothing helps. I figure that for every illness there is a natural remedy. I read in the grow faq under the seeds categories about ailments and didn't find much. Any help I could get on finding a certain strain that could help with these migraines would be greatly appreciated.

take it your mum's been to the doctor, cause spewing sounds a bit serious. i don't know any cannabis strains that are really effective agaist migraines but i know some other herbs that are good. try S.T, johns wort, skullcap, or feverfew these herbs are effective against headaches. all natural as well.

My missis gets migraines and i dont know any specific strains that you may be able to get but as soon as a migraine begins i make her a hot chocolate with about an eighth of dried bud that i have ground and sieved.
Basically makes her go to sleep and when she wakes up its usually gone.
Shes also a puker and can be messed up for days from them.

You have to do this as soon as she starts to feel them coming on as the gut stops working in most migraine sufferers within a hour or so of the migraine becoming full on.

This is why pills and medicines don't work.
After the gut has stopped working a lot of migraine sufferers find smoking makes the pain worse.
If thats the case use a medicinal vaporizer
