Default Growing tips
Anyone every grow easy sativa. Got the seeds from marijuana-seed.nl. Wondering if there were any tips on growing this strain (topping,Purning). Also got Afghan. Anything on these strain would also be very helpful. Have a 60''tall x 31''wide x 23'' Deep with 400watt lighting. How many plant would be to much to grow at once.

If your Sativa is 100% then you will need to top the shit out of it. They get very big. And 15 plants in an 5 sq ft area is nuts. Waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too many plants. Especially if they are 100% sativa. You might be able to get 2 in there.

If this is your first grow I reccomend something like lowryder 2 or some kind of automatic strain. 100% Sativas are pretty hard to grow inside. Especially in a confined space. But if you want to grow it it will take a lot of manicuring and care. You will have to flower them before the are fully mature so the smoke won't be as good. But hey who am I to tell you not to. What size to start flowering? Well 3rd or 4th node maybe. Your biggest problem is height. You said you have 61" Well take 24 of that away because the light needs to be about 12"-18" above plants and then you have the thickness of your light. So in reality you are only working with 37" And that is waaaaaaaaaayy small for a 100% sativa.

Yes this is my first grow. Growing with the caddy system from sunlight sheids. On the web were i got the seeds it gave a descripation of the easy sativa. It says that it is an Mix of 55%indica and 45% Sativa. They give a height of 90-150cm. Does this height include flowering? Does this sound right? This system comes with flor nova, flor bloom, and koolbloom. Are these ok to use or should I get other nuts.

Those nutes are fine. There are better ones but those will do just fine. The 55/45 sounds a little better that a 100% sativa. And that sounds about right being 90-150cm. The 150 is about 57 inches so I think you will be OK on height. This being you first grow you prolly won't get the best case scenario anyway.(no offense) Just keep us updated and I will help anyway I can.

No offense taking at all. So if 90 to 150 is the total of the height after flowering what is a good height to start flowering. If you have a second to take a look, I am getting the caddy turn-key system from sunlight shed.com. Is this a good system to start with? Do you think There is anything that is not included that I should think about getting. I heard that it night not be an bad idear to get some light to run vertical in the cornors. If i should do this what light should be placed there. What do you think about purning or topping with this strain? Sorry for all the questions. thanks for all the help so far.

Wow that is pretty cool. But one thing is what if you are no good at growing? You just pissed away 2 grand. If I were you I would build my own cabinet. You probably need to step up to something like that. If I were you I would figure out if I could grow or not before I spent 2000 dollars on a whole system. Just take baby steps at first. And if you can I would hone my skills with bagseed for my first grow. I know you want to grow the baddest shit in town, we all do. But it probably won't happen on your first try. I really hate telling you this stuff. But for real take baby steps. My first grow I grew Northern lights. I fucked it all up. Thinking more nutes must be better. Trying to grow hydro for my first was a big mistake. It is just harder to change things. And the plants react alot quicker to things in hydro. Just take it slow bud. Try growing in soil first. It is alot more forgiving than hydro.

My friend is new to growing, he is going with 5 ES plants in soil under CFL's. Things seem to me coming right along. He has 5 plants under 4 CFL's, 1 LED array and 2 2' flouros. Now I was gonna say he should get one more bigger light, (ie 105w CFL).

I would like to know the answer to your question about when to flower. What height?
