They're pretty new to the public but have supposedly been collectively breeding in Cali for over 20 years, I read a feature in the last issue of Weed World about them and decided to pick up a pack of 12 reg' Cherry OG for myself to try out.
Also check this vid out :leaf:

I've only done Tahoe OGK (10/10) & DeadHead OG (8/10) from Cali Connect' both grade A dank, can't say for sure about the others though as I've not tried them personally. I've also done smoke reports for both of these strains here and have loads of pic's in my journal too.

I would only trust the bubba and master crosses as even if they haven't been breeding as properly as they say you know you have some fire Cali kush genetic's in there.

Problem I have with this vid is its full phrases like "You have to be sure to ____" and "This strain is suseptable to ________ so stay on top of that" and "you have to let it go the full (long ass time) weeks to really" "Requires lots of attention" I mean the problems with the strains seem to outweigh the possible quality. I know I shouldn't judge before I grow but that video scares a newbie like me from wanting to grow it.

I know what you mean there Tardis, the same comments in the vid made me a 'lil wary of a few of their strains too, but if your grow space is dialed in and you keep on top of everything like feeding & maintenence they should grow out fine just like any other strain already out there really.

Actually I appreciated the video giving a heads up on potential grow issues. If anything, I would have preferred more/additional specific genetics info in the video.
The SkunkMunkie is giving good advice, and there are some strains (by other breeders) that are stated to be easy to grow for newbies.
Just know that everybody suffers failures, either in germination, veg or flower, and gasp, dry, harvest and cure (all that work, down the drain, or wrongfully diminished in quality)
Just learn from your mistakes and do better on next grow.
All that said, I will be trying some Emerald Triangle offerings in the future, looks "preety darn" Dank to me.

You are right, i'm glad they do give that information. But remember, every environment is different.

These guys Rock!!

I have cherry og, cali wild fire and lost coast og growing now in week 7.

cherry og (fem seeds)- very vigorous, lanky stems that need support, great for scrog grows kushy spears, looks like a good yielder aswell. It smells like lemon cherry fuel dankness. only tested one pheno the other i gave to a friend.

lost coast og- pheno-1 golfball type buds very dense similar to purple kush, grew like pk on juice but smells of spicy og/ bubba undertones. Good structure requires no staking responds well to topping beautiful plant.
pheno 2 - good sturdy plant with lots of hairs kushy/sweet smellng huds not as fast as pheno 1 but still looking really special.

cali wildfire- gets big, needs space grows 2 litre bottle sized buds, smells rather hazy now but looks like she will go the full 10 weeks, shes a monster, resilient to pm. We will see what happens i will post pics soon. and smoke reports.

My general conclusion is that Emerald triangle seeds kick ass! i will be keeping every seed i germed from then except for the lost coast male i had.
