    Default What Would You Grow?

I am in week 6 of Flower on my first grow. 1 RESERVA PRIVADA Kandy Kush and 3 Chocolate Rain ( had 4, but one was male).

    In my Seed Collection:
    6 Chocolate Rain regular
    5 El MONSTRE regular
    3 Nivana Wonder Woman fem
    1 Nirvana BUBBLELICIOUS fem
    1 Nivana Blue Mystic fem
1 Royal Queen Shining Silver Haze fem
    1 KANNABIA DOMINA Haze fem
1 Female seeds White Widow x Big Bud fem
    1 Female seeds BubbleGummer fem
1 Female seeds Black Widow fem
1 Dutch Passion Mekong High fem
    1 Dutch Passion Blueberry fem
    1Dutch Passion White Widow fem
1 Dutch Passion Orange Bud fem
1 Dutch Passion Skunk #11 fem
    1 KANNABIA KANNABIA Special fem
    1 KANNABIA Big Band fem
5 KANNABIA BCN Diesel Automatica fem
1 Short Stuff Mi5 Auto fem

    Coming:
2 Short Stuff Onyx Auto fem
1 Female seeds X-Line C99 Hybrid fem (freebie)

Here's what I'm thinking...if DH runs my separate electric to my grow closet, I'll be all set to have my separate veg and flower areas. So, I'm planning on popping 2 BCN Diesel Automaticas and 1 each of Onyx and Mi5. Soon as they get moved to my flowering area, I'll pop the seeds for my next photoperiod grow. They'll be just about ready to go into Flower just as I am harvesting the Autos.
What seeds would you choose from my stock?
I really love Sativas, but I would like to have a selection of daytime smoke, nighttime smoke and an anytime smoke!
    Thanks for your input.

I would just put them all in a hat and leave it to the luck of the draw

short stuff mi5 definitely and i'd definitely try the kannabia domina. the dutch passion blueberry for a relaxing smoke that is also good for pain relief. i would pick bubblegummer for my anytime smoke, sweet taste and functional buzz.

Spoken like someone who has no clue how to grow! THIS IS THE WORSE ADVICE ANYONE COULD ASK YOU TO FOLLOW. DO NOT FOLLOW THAT ADVICE!

    Why?

All those seeds you listed are different. Indicas that grow short, sativas that grow tall. Some strains you have finish in 8 weeks, some in 11. If you start mixing and matching, you'll have a wildly uneven canopy, different nutrient requirements at different times (which means you either underfeed some or overfeed some) and both of those two factors will HUGELY impact your yield. Plants need to be close to the lights, but if you have different sized ones, it makes it harder. Sativas will grow very tall and lengthy, whereas Indicas will be short and stocky -- for the most part.

    Here's my advice:

    Start/Run/Excel

Drop in the names of the seeds you have to Column A. Make Column B indicate their flowering period (8, 9, 10, or 11) and then Column C Indica or Sativa.

Plant the seeds that have traits that resemble the other seeds you are planting.

Then you'll get an even-er canopy, correct nutrient dosing, and a much better harvest and final yield and final product.

    Good luck...........

For this post, I simply listed the strains, but my personal list has flowering time, genetics, height, whether it's indica, sativa, hybrid, etc. I am still working on finding out about individual nute requirements. That info is much harder to find. The drop in the hat idea isn't serious, I don't think!

Yep, for individual nutrient requirements, they should be mostly the same. For the first time growing a strain you can just run 80% strength and if they seem to not get any nutrient burn, kick em up to 100% strength nutrients. You would follow an 8 week nutrient feed schedule for 8 week flower plants, 9 for 9 week, 10 for 10 week, etc.... Your nutrient manufacturer should have a chart for you based upon your flowering length. Usually they are on their websites.

NEVER follow instructions on a bottle. They are always generalized for growing whatever. Follow the flowering formulas for the best results.

    Good luck!

well you already grew out some chocolate rain so my vote definitely goes to the El Monstre and since they are regular seeds and not feminized... i would vote for germing all 5 of them and maybe try to do a selected polination... you could put them into flower... and then move the fem plants to your bloom room and keep the males in the veg room under 12/12 and then you could selectively polinate 1 or 2 buds so you still have seeds for this strain without sacrificing your whole crop
