hey guys has any of you tried a ganja called metanuska thunderfuck its from alaska so im guessing it will grow well here too right? and its supposedly 1 of the strongest strains around and it even requires a frost for max yield and potency thank you for your time peace

its good, but not really what i would call "one of the strongest". a lot of breeders say "strongest strain known to man!" haha, but its a keeper.

Yea, i have tried it but only because my friend, his sisters husband is the one that experimented and grew that. Not sure if he created the straing itself, but I know he grew it in alaska and gave me some. Its not the best but its nice.

I can guarantee you that is just a legend/myth.
Its more of a local way of saying "the good shit" , when everything here is "the good shit".
When someone says it's like some thunderfuck you know its better then good.
So there is no specific strain from alaska, our summers are to short to grow

the actual strain has been long gone for years. the main operation in the matanuska valley was shut down eventually because of busts in anchorage. anyone that has told you thier bud is actual matanuska thunderfuck is misinformed, sadly. but the guy above me is right i've heard people calling the normal homegrown bud that goes around alaska thunderfuck for some reason, but it's just the average fire we get.

i recently purchased some matanuska tundra seeds, the strain is still alive and well, just a little expensive...

O yes it is expensive, I was thinking that the strain had died out because thats what I had heard, however when he had shown me what he was growing it was obvious it hadnt, especially after I smoked it. I am not saying this guy created it, but I do know that a friend of his gave him some seeds and he grew it. Anyways im guessing they named it thunderfuck because of the fact they thought it was so powerful it felt like being fucked by thunder? eh..anyone think that might be it? haha
