hey guys.
i am a little confused because on hg420 everyone seems to HATE Arjans GHSco.
They reckon he steals other peoples strains (i believe mainly shantibabas strains such as medicine man) and name them their own..without even breeding them 1st..just released for more money under a diff name?
anyone else heard these things? id already ordered WR before i read this.. is it true does anyone know?

that is not true, shantibaba was with greenhouse years ago and he created those strains with the help of greenhouse breeders. then he left greenhouse and started Mr. Nice seeds when he left he had to rename his strains.......white widow=black widow, white rhino=medicine man, white shark=shark shock..........GH has a great rep and great strains as does Mr. nice.

yes i understand this and thats why i was very surprised because until a few weeks ago i had thought GHS was one of the best seed companys out there. and they do have a great rep...just not on Hg420.

I think Greenhouse gets a bad rep just because they are the big dog. I have a friend who is about to fly out to Amsterdam to go to the Cannabis Cup this week, and I asked him to bring me back just a simple Greenhouse T-shirt, which I want because I am currently growing their Great White Shark. The reply I received when I asked him was along the lines of "Fuck Greenhouse. Fuck Arjan. That guy thinks he's the fucking king of weed." I think if GHSC is getting a bad rap, it's because they are one of the top breeders, and snobbery often makes people hate the mainstream. However, I have smoked their White Widow (which I suppose is the flagship), and I had the good fortune of smoking some Ultra Haze the other night, and I can say from experience that they are both extremely good. Greenhouse has my confidence. Oh, and as far as breeders that worked for the company, it sucks that they lost the rights to their own work, but that is standard practice in any industry. Go work for Microsoft, come up with a successful program, and see how Bill feels about ownership when you try to leave the company.

S-Town

I'm not unhappy if GHS are the best out there as iv just received some WR from them. I was a little doubtful that they'd get through New Zealand's customs..but they did! so that's awesome. I ordered regular from Dr. chronic but when I received them they came with a cut off piece of original GHS packaging..which has the female sign on it..reckon he gave me female instead? Good on him if he did or maybe just a piece of spare packaging to show what they are..not necessarily female?
