I got a cutting about three months ago, vegged it, took a few cuts off it( the cutting was off a P1 Mother)
I usually do this with new strains I get in clone form. I test grow one or two,If I like the smoke and yeild, I'll mother the first cutting I take.

Anyway, TGA (team green avengers) has done a fine job here. JTR is a cross between Jacks Cleaner and Spacequeen.
Upclose the smell is lemon-candy with a slight skunk. It is loaded with trichs, and is quite sticky. decent yeilding but nothing to brag about.
I picked it at 60 days and the high is superb.The high is very clean,clear and energetic. Wonderfully potent. Not a one hit wonder but not much more than that is needed for even the heaviest of smokers like me.
The taste is probably the best thing about this strain. Just like it smells. Lemon candy.
I will mother this clone for sure.
This strain was in the Big Book of Buds 3 and was chosen as a top 10 by HighTimes in I believe 2006.
Overall I am more than satisfied with the results. 3 and a half out of 4 stars.

Lovely strain, and one i really miss. I would love to get the JTR back... exactly like you described it. We never kept a mom, and te strain eventually grew out after a few crops... but i'll always remember it as one of the finest smokes I'd ever had.

I'm pleased for you... while also a little envious at the same time.

After a few weeks of curing, I'm raising my rating on this strain from 3.5 of 4 stars to 3.75. I really love it, what a great taste, smell, look , and high.
You gotta grow this stuff!

Yeah, like lemons... makes you smack your tongue against the roof of your mouth. Everyone went crazy for it when i grew it. I may get it back one day.

I'm burning it right now and it just keeps on impressing me.
I think a good 4 month mason jar cure on this stuff will win Cups.
Check this out skunkhybrid, my Purple Urkle hermied and pollenated my JTR and my Mongolian Indica, just a few seeds but they are ripe! So stoked about that. I'm calling the JTR X PU "Jack it 'till it's purple"

JTR actually has blueberry in its parentage, alongside the only surviving space queen male in the world (i think). So it would be interesting to see what the added purple does for the JTR. It's great finding seeds. My la conf hermie right at the end too, but never enough to pollinate any other plants. I always find just one seed. Crazy. Never ripe though.
