Have you grown it outdoors? I'd have to agree that it is completely different from anything else I have ever grown... in veg it stays very short and stocky, and it the leaves have the strangest smell... almost like fresh ground pepper or something. Definitely the heaviest Indica varietal I've grown. I've got one indoors that I'm about to harvest (it's at 7 weeks-ish, not the highest yielder I've had, but looks nice and potent)... HOWEVER, I'm about to plant 20 of these things outdoors and devote my entire summer crop to it, and I'm still wondering if anyone has any idea how it yields (comparatively, even)? Glad others are on board with this one, thanks for any help!

Anyone? How about any early strain? Does anyone know how much an average early variety yields compared to an average regular-term variety? This is, again, outdoors I'm talking about... maybe I should repost in "outdoor growing"...

I wanna do a follow up to this thread and my post.
I found after my last few harvests of Misty, using only one mother plant. That there are actually 2 completely different phenotypes of this plant. One produces large calyxes and has an oddly skunky smell. The other produces tight buds with a tangy sweet smell. I had the second pheno my first time growing, and ever since then have had the more skunky/fluffy phenotype. One thing that bothered me about the plant was that it seemed to be fluffy and the buds didn't form like other strains I have grown. They were somewhat loose and the amount of leaves compared to buds was somewhat irritating, and made me dread harvesting due to the amount of leaves. However overall, like I said before, this is a very easy strain to grow, and it requires very little maintenance. On another note, I am pretty sure Nirvana discontinued the sale of this strain. I'm not going to follow through with my research right now but to my knowledge Nirvana combined their best selling "early" strains to form one main early strain and it looks promising but I have yet to try it, as my next set of strains will be coming from numerous seed banks. I have not had the chance to grow this plant outdoors, so I could not give you a straight answer as to if it would grow well outdoors. However, it does stay short and bushy, which is a plus for outdoor growing, and it does finish quickly. When it was listed and for sale on Nirvana, it was under the Indoor/Outdoor section if I'm not mistaken, so I'm sure you could start it indoors and then move it outside when you feel it's time. Just my 2 cents. Once again, let me know if I missed anything.

i'm a first time english-outdoor grower and i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to tend well to my early misty seedlings. They seem to be stretching a bit as i've got them in an incubator tray, inside, by a window but i was wondering: is it worth me buying a small lamp and bulb for this early stage to get them big n strong for the english summer ? i'm hoping to get them out side by the end of may - early june
Any other general advice for the climate would be apreciated |

early misty is great outdoors, ive got one on the go at the moment and she is loving it. quite short plants, but mine has a series of colas up and down her. i would say that early misty would do better outdoors because the sun can give its attention to all parts of the plant, instead of just the top and main stem, as growing under lights does. hope this helps : )
