Crippie or the crip for short is actually a very popular "strain" throughout florida. The whole state i believe is dry of the strain for a couple of years now but it used to be so popular that you couldnt find any great mass marketed weed. Im not positive on how its grown but ill have to guess hydro. The nugs were very dense and very orange and its a stoney high which I got sick of but couldnt find a replacement. Its 50-60 for an eight usually. Great product I have to say and it was always sticky icky fresh. I lived in Orlando btw and people probably still call any good weed crippie but its not the same strain(shittier)

There are so many slang names for weed, Creeper, dro, fruit, fire, middies, swag, snikle fritz.. ive herd so many around town here but i have noticed that the old timers just call it pot and thats the best place to get some fire lol

i been to florida and head of crippie but i guess it just means thats its very potent not really sure. but i also was in colombia and heard of crippie and had to try it because out there when you look for weed most likely your gonna get some shitty ass weed but the crippie out there was some potent shit.

yo fellas, new to the website but not to crip- it was an actual strain that came in from Panama/ Columbia. it was covered in red hairs. This was in the mid 90's. Now a days basically any sensi grown down here is called "crip" Stay Irie

Im going to be honest but i never heard any of these stories you guys are talking about. Now I remember hanging out with some old heads and they told me this story. Growers from Puerto Rico made a real crazy strain that was very potent. The term of the strain was Crippy. They decided to take it to the states witch they landed in Florida and ever since then people started growing Crippy from the seeds either form a baggie or oz they sold. I lived in Puerto Rico a few times and i always ask what type of weed im buying of a seller and they will keep it 100% and say its backyard garbage or real shit like Crippy. It was hard to find a Crippy connect but i found 1 and trust me big difference then any other weed, bud, haze, kush, piff you name it. Mr Luvcrippy is Close though, It is covered in red hairs. Its been along time i have smoked crippy wish i had connect up here in nj.

According to my uncle who has been in Florida for close to 40 years. Cryppie is not the real cryppie. It is slang for good green weed. The slang comes from a popular strain in South Florida from the late 80s early 90s. He actually smoked some with me in '92 when I visited him. They were green crystally nuggets with red hairs and you would need scissors or a razor blade to cut it up to roll a joint, this was before grinders were popular, because the nuggets were hard as rocks. Hence the name "Krypto" which you all can guess is short for Kryptonite superman's weakness. So Kryptonite became Krypto which became Kryppie Kryp yadda yadda yadda. The real Kryptonite he said has not been around in a long time. That is out of the mouth of my 60 year old hippy uncle.

Bumb this old ass thread.

I'm looking for more info on this rare strain. Please save the speech crippie is a term used for good weed. Which I don't argue that that is what the term means now. I'm talking about what started the whole thing, back when many of the new generations were too busy playing Nintendo.

Crippie is a strain out of Tampa coined in 92' it is said to be he mother of og, mother to the tk, and have played a big part in history as the very genetics that caused a craze in California, and it's genetics are in every modern day og and kush.

Ive talked to several people who know what it is and a few people who actually have the cut. One person to have been part of the south florida crew that originally held it.

It has insanely og taste and flavor, super tight nugs, all 3 bladed leafs, rarely will you see a 5. Covered in trichs.

Again, please not another generic phrase post, if you have info or a comment please post.

Dealers make up some stupid shit to aid in sales.
It's that FIRE CRIPPIE son...

It's gang slang created by Crips gang for killer weed.
I grew up in FLorida and brought TK to my area of Cali, and never heard of a strain named Crippie that supposedly created TK.

The crippie was NOT green, it was goldish colored.

And as far as folks calling all dank crippie, I wouldn't doubt it, seems like a smart move to ride the coat tails of the real crip.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

The one cat I'm talking to has the tk, south Florida og 97".

He's not selling anything, and has no reason to make shit up.

For this strain to be created in 92, or at least coined means you would have to be at least 20 years old at the time.

So if you are younger than ~ 45ish, I wouldn't expect you wouldn't have been around.

No disrespect to any floridians, but just because you don't know, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Think about this. When bone thugs in harmony came out, everyone started calling good weed dro, or hydro. Too stupid to understand dro was a way to gro, not a strain or a slang. But it had to start somewhere.

I'm trying to find the original og. Non watered down genetics. I've already talked to several people who claim to have been part of the original crew. Their stories are exactly the same. I don't believe everything I hear, but I have no reason to not believe these cats. They are older, knowledgable. Not selling me anything.

I have also seen Instagram posts with some of the most beautiful og's I've seen. Coined as crippie or crippy. Two people share this cut. They have been offered big bucks, I'm talking 5 k for a cutting and they won't let it go.

They have a very similar story how it originated in Tampa bay in the late 80's.

There are more people out there that made tk, and south florida og or in the that circle. I want to talk with them.

i have some 3bladed plants from seed
What does that mean
they are almost strange looking
Whats ur knowledge on 3 bladed plants
I know real clone only og's will throw all 3 bladed leaves. I know that trait will be bread out the more the plant is crossed and the genetics are watered down.

All 3 bladed leaves on a og plant will be one of her many indications you have the real deal.

What's you strain that throw 3's? Post a pic please.

Do you still have those pics Kgp? Would love to see if it's the same stuff I used to get.

I have to ask my bro if he's still getting crip.
