Question Help with strain choice
Well just looking for some advice from other people who have smoked some of the varieties out there who may have a similar problem as I do.

I'm blessed to have Primary Multiple sclerosis still in the earlier stages of it but do have bad pain, cramps, tremors/spasms and a bad energy problem(fatigue)

If anyone out there has input on a selection that has helped you or others with these problems more than other available strains I would greatly appreciate any input.

Thanks

Hey Medcaniman, welcome to RUI!

.

"I'm blessed to have Primary Multiple sclerosis still in the earlier stages of it but do have bad pain, cramps, tremors/spasms and a bad energy problem(fatigue)"

.

MTM's suggestions are all great. I don't know much about Kush but Cindy 99 can be had at Dr Greenthumbs (one of my must gets) and Jack The Ripper is a Subcool (TGA) strain I have in my garden.

Up

Green Crack is a clone only strain that, so far, can only be bought from a dispensary. Energizing and people refer to it as the best smoke they've ever had (I read that alot, but it's no doubt good smoke). If you want this one we may be able to find a dispensary you can visit or who will mail to you.

Flo by DJ Short is a motivating strain, beautiful musty grape taste.

Bubblegum
by Serious Seeds is a crystal clear euphoric high; tastes like pink bubblegum and icing sugar; easy to grow.

AK47 is another Serious Seeds strain that is an up rocket fuel soaring high. Non-fucntional. Quick onset, raises mood, good pain relief. Stinks during flower.

Jilly Bean by MzJill (TGA-Subcool): High type - happy, mood enhancing, humorous, energetic; smells like orange skunk or tang; taste like Dreamcicles; extremely up beat and happy buzz great for depression and bad days.

.

Some of the more notable pain numbing strains I know of are:

Medicine Man by Mr Nice (White Rhino by Greenhouse is a good knockoff).

Dr VonDank
's Godzilla is by all account's I've read a head tearer off of kind of strain (Doc is a forum member, I'll post a link to his Godzill thread below).

Endless Sky
by Dr Greenthumb is a super potent indica that produces well and flowers in 6 weeks.

Cotton Candy
by Federation is recomended by forum member frmrboi, I don't know how potent it will be but it'll be a non-drowsy strain if you need pain relief through the day.

BOG
's Lifesaver is his flagship pain relief strain, his beans are hard to find and usually only show up at dispensaries or in auctions.

Kali Mist
by Serious Seeds is said to be great for menstral cramps, I'm not sure if it would help with MS. My favorite strain, cuts through moods, up-opiate euphoric bliss.

White Russian by Serious is a potent head stone, long lasting.

Blue Moonshine by DJ Short is a narcotic blueberry body stone, the White Widow of the Blue Family.

A strong sativa like Super Silver Haze by Mr Nice is suppose to be good for pain.

Subcool (TGA) and HHF (Breeder's Choice) are two breeders who specialize in strains that help medical patients, reading through their lineup might give you a strain you like. Chernobyl is one of Subcool's pain relief strains - Trainwreck and JTR are two of the three parents, good for pain relief and muscle tremors (worth a close look). HHF has several great pain relief strains - Seraph will help with insomnia as well.

There are a ton of other strains that will help, these are just the one's I'm familiar with and can pull from the top of my head.

.

Most of those strains can be found at these seed banks.

Sour Diesel. All my patients love this strain for pain relief, and it does not put you to sleep as does the Kush. I smoke SD for muscel spasms and joint pain for 30 years. Man i am so tried of hearing about kush. Shit there are so many other great strains. But SDhead and shoulders above the rest. And I have smoked 1000's of strains over my 52 years

My friends and I have similar pain issues as well. I can agree with many of the strains others have listed above. Here are some of our favorites (as a group. not all are my favs):

Kali Mist - Serious Seeds
Super Silver Haze - Mr. Nice
White Russian - Serious Seeds
Blue Moonshine - DJ Short
Green Crack - Only heard reports as it is not available in my area to my knowledge.
Cindy 99 x Apollo 11 - Joey Weed (Up next to grow in our garden!)
C13 Haze - DNA Genetics
G13 Widow - Mr. Nice
Jack the Ripper - Subcool/TGA (Only reports, haven't smoked or grown, but on this list to grow soon)
Sour Diesel - I dunno who has the seeds if at all.

I've tried all the above except for Green Crack, Jack the Ripper, C13 Haze (which is growing now) and the C99 x A-11. I'm not a huge fan of the "white family" of strains, based on taste, but they are knockouts. All the above mention strains have their place on a list for someone, somewhere.

Thank you all for your input, its good to get serious reviews before I commit to having my garden with one or another.

I do like a lot of what i've heard about any Jack Herrer based genetics. And of course would love to try the widow

Thanks uyakbay. I've been planning to get Rez's Sour Diesel IBL during his December release but I have lots of beans for new strains to put in the garden so I was going to put it off. Now I'm thinking again - have you had Serious AK47? It's between those two for my next purchase, I'm looking for a powerful head high - euphoric and up but I'm open to effects from there. I was thinking about a Sour Diesel Clone as an option as well, may be better than a plant from seed. Any advice would be appreciated.
