how long do seeds last? I have some seeds, still in original packaging. How long will they last. Any way of lengthening that time? I heard putting them in a refrigerator, but I live in a dorm with a shared refrigerator, so that won't work.

i'm interested also. I know somebody must know the answer.

ive had seeds that my dad had givin me from back in his days and i threw them in to germ and ended up getting 2 great female bag seeds. as long as there not exposed to extream heat and exposed to mostiure and kept in a cool dark place u can store them for as long as you would like

Hi there i am abit new to this myself but in answer to your question i personally have had seeds from weed in a sealed bag in a pot for about 3 years i have just come to grow them and out of the 15 seeds i have about 6 which have sproted. I think the sooner you use them the better, but dont throw them away cos you never know !!!!!!
