I guess that makes sense.. Mr. Nice's Black Widow is the original White Widow, and White Rhino is a hybrid of White Widow right? It would only makes sense that MNS has the original White Rhino :-D

Just dont get nirvana WR.. I hear that they suck and most phenos are sativa dominant.. I hear DJ Shorts "Blue Moonshine" is a great indica.. But there too damned expensive for me.

I heard that GH's WR have alot of sative too.. Not exactly "real" WR if there more than 20% sativa IMHO. Are yours looking sativa?
My GHS WR had the short stretch and wide leaves of an indica but the last few weeks of flower the buds grew like a haze. Lots of new pistil growth and branching calyx development. Took 10 weeks flower to reach maturity.

Gotta be honest. Did not meet my expectations. I grew out their Indica Mix H fem pack. I would rate the strains as follows... Lemon Skunk > Great White Shark > Cheese > White Rhino > Trainwreck. I really like the Lemon Skunk, GWS, and Cheese, but did not care at all for the TW and was pretty much neutral on the WR. The WR was rather bland in taste, smell, and potency. Kind of a milky taste, a little hint of hashiness I suppose but the high was definitely not as advertised. Lemon Skunk is much stronger. But I'm not sure these strains are entirely stable because I see so many differing opinions on them.

It, among others such as was mentioned, White Widow/Black Widow were involved in the breakup of the original Green House Seeds and since it, as in the original, went with Shantibaba when he sold his portion of Green House Seeds and opened up Mr. Nice Seeds.

I will say in the case of the current/knockoff Green House Seeds White Rhino, it is a better/closer knockoff than Arjan did with his knockoff White Widow. I will not claim it to be the best White Rhino but I believe it to be very good and well worth the price in comparison to what some other breeders charge and what you receive for your outlay.

It is one of a handful of strains in Arjan’s line that I will never say is the best but it is in a group of Arjan’s line that I do consider to be good values for your dollar and good choices for someone on a less that large budget.

Green House Seeds only offers White Rhino in feminized beans. A pack of 10 costs $90.16 (USD). That is roughly $9.02 per bean.

Mr. Nice Medicine Man only comes in regular beans. A pack of 18 costs $188.82 (USD) That is $10.49 per bean.

For someone with the room to grow out enough Medicine Man and find a quality mother or two and can keep mothers and grow from clones I would say the difference in price would be well worth paying.

But for everyone else just being feminized makes the Green House Seeds a better value and the small difference in price per bean is just icing on the cake. The chance of getting a true male is almost nill so unless someone hermi’s a plant or plants or just kills them off somehow they are guaranteed 10 female plants. While I would certainly hope to get no less than 10 females plants out of 18 regular beans, and actually expect more, if someone is growing in a limited space where most or every plant has to produce in every run they may have an entire run of Medicine Man turn out to be males.

The risk factor, the unknown element is what makes Green House Seeds White Rhino a better value for anyone other than the type of grower I described above who has the setup so they can find a quality mother or two and can keep mothers and grow from clones.

For someone who has such a setup the small difference in price savings in buying Green House Seeds would not be worth choosing a knockoff over the original, at least not in this case considering the original genetics’ history.

But you HATE Indica's .. WR is supposed to be all about the indica/medicinal high isnt it? Did yours have an indica or sativa high?

rhino has a lot of couchlock phenoes,a lot black dominia have a couchlock phenoe,as well as chemo,.those are the ones i can think of now,but a lot of indica hybrids have a very heavy phenoe in them, even white russian.but you cant tell untill the smoke test, because ive had really up high in indica black dominia, but ch bred for couchlock and flavor.
