A challenge to all breaders. If any of your strains are really that "Futer" bomb, then stablalize it, tweak it, and gbe known for that strain. Don't go out with a bang, live to become a historical name in the game. One off strains impress the here and now, true artwork lives on.

Yep. Let's make sure that our grand kids can't even smoke because it is so strong it puts you in a a coma. And chasing strains is a good way to end up with nothing. Likew it was stated, once genes are lost, they are lost.

There are all of these great crosses out there, and I would hate to see that true super plant go a way.

To first create anything new a breeder would need to source, select and stabilise from within landrace, heirloom or other lines. Breeders do not do this kind of work nowadays as a rule. Its simply too much work, and in addition the moment you release a new ''breeding'' stock, such as a true, unique IBL it will be hacked and sold by others in minutes.

Attached is a pic of our TW line, IBL, F9plus. When we finally completed the work the line was for sale in 3 breeders shop windows within just a few months. Heck, even before from seeds we had sent to friends to test. It is very hard to do real useful work in that environment.

In addition, there is now the huge female seed market, which means there needs to be no breeding done at all. Simply grab the latest hottest clone and reverse it..

It is terrible, there is no progression and there are very very few actual plant breeders around. There are lots of Cannabis seed makers and marketeer's. Very good at it they are too!

It is a great shame, the craftsmen of today care not about the genepool or creating new worthwhile plant lines. Not all are the same, there are some around that are true plantsmen and not followers of these fashions, trying to preserve and create useful genetics for the future. But it is almost impossible to survive doing so.

Photo is one of our TW IBL line, like i say, this one hacked and for sale before we even had a chance to finish the work. We wanted to create a stable genetic line of TW, we feel its a important genetic to preserve and share. Like i say, its hard, not impossible but its much, much easier to cross to in fashion strains for sure.

Interestingly, lol, it appears the pollen chuckers cant really work with anything other than hybrid Sativas though, maybe not the skills to grow much other than clusterfucked Cannabis. So, do not worry to much about the 'building blocks' like pure Colombians and so forth, they are still there and shared, only real committed plantspeople appear to want to ''go there'' so maybe there is some hope for the future and the genepool.
