It's not what they did intentionally and thought they'd get away with that I'm concerned about, it's the stuff they had no clue about that may be routine for experienced LEO:

- did they clear all private data on their hard drive every day?
- did they shred their orders once filled?
- were they Oh-so-smart and kept a second hard drive with contact info that they could disconnect from their computer so no one would suspect they have another hard drive?

They were reckless and if this is their second time being caught, too stupid to learn from their mistakes. They got caught because they blatantly disregarded the first and second rule of marijuana seed breeding and distribution:

Rule number 1 of marijuana seed sales: Do NOT ship or sell seeds to the US unless you are from a country that will not extradite. We still mourn Mark Emery, who the jackasses in Ottawa will send to a former(?) torture state in blatant violation of Canadian law.

Rule number 2 of marijuana seed sales: If you are breeding seeds in the US then sell and ship through a company in the UK or Northern Europe. Keep a low profile and another company as a fuse between you and the heat. (Any where in Europe but Denmark. They think they're the Canada of Europe? WELL WE'RE THE CANADA OF THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD AND THEY'LL PAY FOR THEIR AROGANCE! If you're from Canada you know what I mean.)

Rule number 3 or marijuana seed sales: Next time you think of ordering seeds shipped from the US place your head on the toilet seat rim and slam the seat downwards with great force. Repeat as necessary. If the problem persists install a porcelin or metal toilet seat.

Its not even about if he kept the address's. Its about what can the LEO's pull from his internet provider. FRom his email, from his dealings on these forums. The least of my worries is did elite have my address laying around, I'm more worried about how far back into his net activities are they going. If pwoplw don't think that they can pull a ton of stuff from his ISP, internet history/use and computer then you are wrong.

The cops have a list of houses that are all likely to be grow ops and probable cause to search the houses. Why would the cops stay away from easy busts?

Tear everything down immediately and find a new spot.

I hate to be a stick in the mud here, but little known fact, the DEA in cooperation with RCMP have approximetely 150 operatives in/around lower mainland and interior, read that in a vancouver newspaper story about the history of AN founders, if I can find it again I'll post the link to it, and I would only assume they'd do the same with the ciggarette smuggling in mohawk territory cause' it spans both borders. Thats kinda a wake up call actually knowing a seed bank's busted that u may have ordered from. OH and btw as much as I like the statement of your sig Hobbes, fuck Jean Chretien and his poor command of the english language(yes I'm from AB), that paved the way for stefan dion....I tell for you, don't press my nerve anglais. I played sports with some Indians (Mohawk by coincidence) who had relatives living on a reservation stratling both countries. They made millions smuggling smokes, I was told how bringing in truckloads of cigarettes into the reservation on the US side was like stocking a local Walmart; and getting them through Canada is like smuggling poison. Apparently the US Law Enforcement helps their Canadian counterparts when it suits their purpose, not when they think Canada could use their help. Which makes sense, since we don't pay their budget and loose lips sink ships.
