I have problems falling asleep sometimes (brain racing) and other times I will fall asleep just fine and wake up two hours later with the brain racing and anxiety dreams.

Can anyone advise on a good strain that will shut down my body for sleep but not let me get so couch locked that I would not worry about a smoke alarm?

Thanks for any advice if you have looked for similar benefits. I have been told different lifestyle choices by doctors (no coffee/booze) but these havent really helped all that much.

Honestly any weed will put you to sleep. Maybe an indica strain like afghan kush will put you to bed faster but I know what that racy thought thing is because ive had it to. And when i stopped smoking for a month I dream like crazy and wake up after only 2 or 4 hours of sleep at a time then think some crazy though and have my mind running for hours even though im in my bed trying to sleep. now if i smoke some dank weed i sleep for hours and have no dreams and no anxiety.

Thanks for the post, but just so everyone knows, I haven't gotten high in a good 7 years. I'm getting back into the hobby as I hope it can help. I have had prescriptions for sleep aids, but they all seem to have side effects from bleary morning to over the counter meds which seem to wake me up more often after 2 hours of sleep. But off to research kush I go!

Yea dude those sleeping pills always messed me up in the morning and made me feel groggy. Now dont get me wrong after i finish smoking some kush I dont rush to get out of the bed in the morning either but when im out of the bed i never feel sleepy after i take those first few steps and if anything im energized. anyway good luck

Heard good reports on California Hash. Got some free beans for it with last order from Attitude, but aint got around to planting them yet. Think my local coditions aint right for a summer grow season. If the online brochures aint fibbing might be a good candidate for consideration to fit the parameters as outlined.
