i've been to Amsterdam twice, and i had the chance of visiting Cambodia a few days ago. so this is fairly like a smoke review but you cannot purchase these seeds off the web and get it delivered at you, sorry=(
i went around in a local cab looking for buds and i got hands on them easily at "happy pizza". these Happy Pizza shops has been long time favourites for stoners from all over the world, as they provide a pizza topped with grinded buds and cheese. oh i almost forgot about the dope. the shops offer weed discreetly, but this has been due to the recent anti-drug movement by the government. i had read that ganchaa(local name for weed) was sold by the kilos, only for mere dollars.
because this country has very low knowledge in agriculture(and a dozen other things), most of the buds have been either picked too late(indications from seeds) and smell like hay due to bad conditions when drying and curing.
lol. so basically i knew 3 shops and well, all 3 shops came up with the same, hay-smelling green thai sticks. i was very skeptical that smoking it would do anything at all.
when i got back to my hotel room during the late afternoon, ground up a fat bud and rolled a 2g blunt.

i almost got knocked the fuck out trying to finish that all by my self. haha


bud looks: they are what they call it the "Thai Stick" i heard that Snoop loves this shit.

odour: smells like hay. i found a few buds in one of the buds, and these had no seeds whatsoever and had a bright green colour with a sweet and strong Haze stink. This was probably picked at the right time.

taste : tastes similar to the "haze" varietes such as Super Silver Haze, Neville's Haze though not as sweet.

high: i don't know whether if haze is a sativa or indica, but my brother says this gives a good head high so i'm guessing Cambodian strains are pure Sativas. good head high with CEVs at 5 blunts in a row. at one point in Cambodia, i passed out in my bed, and i was seeing things with my eyes closed lol. but i had quite a few beers too so that may explain things,

overall: I love Cambodian buds. they may not be the best looking out there, but the local weed there tastes so sweet and hazey for what it looks like and its just good.

Here's a thought: The next time your rump-rangling Asian lady boys in the 'Bode, just smoke a rolled up newspaper instead.

If it takes you 5 "blunts" to get there, you might as well not smoke at all. Try Oxy or something. Save the bud for normal folks.

my cousin had went to Cambodia for his wedding last summer & he came bk with a story of his "ca-cha" (weed in Khmer) He had told me he was able to get his hands on 2 lbs just for $10 american money?! I was like "whatt??!!" but the downside of what he had said was it wasn't good bud, more of the cheap brick swhag Mexicans bring into the U.S Also my step father tells me stories of how he use to harvest the weed for the Khmer Rouge bk when he was in the concentration camps etc. Just saying what I know ya dig?

2 pounds was probably before the cambodian government started cracking down on drugs.
have you been there by any chance? it's a beautiful place, poor compared to most modern cities i must say.

I'd be scared of the local laws...maybe I've watched too much "locked up abroad"

cambodia is listed by the c.i.a. as one of the world's top producers...I went to thailand before 911, and the police there are nazis on the drugs...all I saw was some burmese in exactly the same mexican brickweed condition...one day; I'm gonna' go expat, and just be an 'ag-extension adviser'- wink -wink, nudge-nudge...except I'm not gonna' be one of those creepy grandpa' with the 18 yr. old native girl types!

im getting a feeling that people on RIU read this and think that i went to Cambodia for cheap sex and weed; it wasn.t
my country has ties with Cambodia and our government is doing things to help Cambodia grow economically. i also happen to be majoring in tourism so that was another excuse to tell anyone who asked why i went there. i'm 21 btw =P

i appreciate the review, HOLROYD obviously hasn't smoked much bricked sativa.... and generally seemed to want to be trollish . I love smoking weed without a ceiling or the indica thunk ....you can smoke and smoke and smoke and be high, not stoned.
