Anyone have a very dependable seed bank that can obtain some of the old hippie stuff? Specifically, Purple haze, and Panama red. The reason i smoke til this day, is to find and harvest those two very strains and relive my highschool days. the high is so much different to the stuff ive been smoking lately. Im not saying im smoking seedy shit, i smoke some decent stuff, But its just not the same, the purple haze high was such an amazing experience for me that id totally love to flower me up some of those ladies, feedback please!

Don't know about the purple haze, but HighGrade-Seeds offers a panama red x white widow cross that comes with alcapulco gold x white widow and one other strain I can't remember. Honestly I'm not suggesting it though because the grow I have seen of it is not impressive, but it's the only panama red strain I've seen to date.

You can't. Any beans being produced today are not the same as what was going around in the 60's and 70's, no matter what the breeder wants you to believe.

That being said, there are some incredibly good strains out now that far exceed the stuff available back then.

I realize there is better stuff these days, i just wont forget the purple haze high. it was such a different experience.

I assumed that too, i smoked it a few years back in the early 2001-2002 cant really remember, but it was around for a month and i smoked a whole lot, ill never forget that bud

These days people will call it purple haze even though it may be haze its not the purple haze of back then. They just put the purple in their for shock value but I doubt its the strain from back then.

i hear about it alot from socal...and their are a few ppl on here that have grown it....just because you dont have it or see it dosnt mean it is exstinct...its just a small number of people have it...a guy in norcal i seen his med journal on here and he grew some outdoor and the whole plant turned purple compared to the other plants in his garden...its still around but hard to find....some people charge high prices for that shit...ive seen 350 up 2 500 for an oz

Yeah i smoked it in miami when i was like 14-15, and iuno ived tried to track this strain down hard but it seems nearly possible, this website claims its pure purple haze, 198$ for 10 seeds, im kind of skeptical to order them without some sort of backing up.. They've been collecting seeds and preserving them for over 20 years from that ive gathered researching the company..
