I have three little Satori seedlings started. I'm probably looking at another 3-4 months before I even taste it, and that's if i get a female out of three. I've seen in a few threads people starting some up, or getting the beans. Come on someone, Show off your Satoris

I grew it a year or so ago, good potent smoke and easy to grow, good producer. My only beef: not that tasty. I made many crosses but haven't grown them out. A good Sativa for a first time grower.

Thanks frmrboi. How many did you grow out? I'm hoping your growing and smoking lots of high grade bud has made you jaded LOL . BTW what is your favorite Sativa?

I'm really glad you said it is potent though, I've heard a few on other forms say they like the taste and didn't like the potency.

Whatever their other characteristics they are VERY healthy and fast growing.

5, I got the seeds in a trade, I'm not a good judge of potency as I have a low tolerance for THC (I get high really easily). I grew it for the anti depressant/anxiety/restless leg syndrome properties not the high.
Best Sativa was Blaze (Blueberry X Haze). I've crossed it to Satori but not grown it out yet.
I smoked some unknown Kush a couple of days ago that was the most potent weed I've smoked to date, but it's not my cup-of-tea I'm a sativa man.

I'll try to be specific in my questions then. Did it finish in the stated 65-70 day? does it really work for the purposes you stated? does it give you energy? did you have more than one Pheno? What did it taste and smell like? I almost exclusively vaporize now and even schwag can taste good.

Thanks again for all the time and help. Are you still out of the grow game for now? I really missed it when I stopped for close to twenty years. I sure appreciate your experience so it's still being used either way.

I just sampled a bud I cut at 60 days. About 85% cloudy trichs, the rest clear. I'd have to say that it is a very potent sativa. It gets me HIGH. Not stoned, but high. And pretty long lasting too. I'm still feeling it 4-6 hours after smoking a single bowl. It really makes me want to speed when driving. Not that I'm impatient, it just seems like 55 is really slow.

I've only smoke a couple grams so I can't get too detailed on the high yet. But so far I'm really loving it. It's been years since I smoked a sativa that was this potent. The only other known strain I have to compare it to is GH church, and at this point I'd have to say I really prefer the satori. Both to grow and to smoke.

I have yet to smoke any cured satori yet, so I'm sure the taste will greatly improve. But I'd say it has an overall sweetness to it, with a strong earthy undertone. I think the taste would really be something pretty special with a couple weeks of curing.

I think this plant was the more sativa dom pheno. It always stretched more than the other satori that was started at the same time right beside it. When put into 12/12, it was basically about a 2' tall lollipop. After a couple weeks of flowering it had doubled in height, and it just exploded with new growth. I'm not the most experienced grower, but I have never seen anything else grow so fast so quick. It also had the largest fan leaves I have ever seen.

My other satori started flowering only about a month ago. It seems to be much bushier, with little stretch. It also looks like it will be a heavy yielder. I also started a 3rd satori about a month ago. I'm hoping for a male this time, so he can knock up my church and my safari mix. At this point my satori has been 2/2 female. My safari ratio is 1/2.

In case you can't tell, I'm becoming a very big satori fan. Someday I hope to have some kali mist to compare it to, but right now I am very satisfied with mandala's genetics. Possibly the best $35 I ever spent.
