i orignally only planted two. one came up in three days. the other was at seven and I planted another but left the other one. on the 8th day i decided I must have water logged it, so I very carefull started to tweezer away the jiffy mix, i lift one chunk and can seed a healthy tap root and the seed coat still on. I put the jiffy mix back and the next day it was up. It has actually passed the first one up.

I am very psyched! I'm glad they are growing so fast since I'm only going to run clones....I have some waiting to do.

ICmag has a breeders forum with Manadala Mike and Jasmin, but they have been absent for a long time. Are you going to do a smoke report?

Have you read ANothers satori smoke report over there yet? I will do a smoke report once the buds have had a chance to cure a little bit. Did I mention that I'm really liking my satori?

Glad to hear you were able to save your seed.

Mine got big enough to clone pretty quickly. And so far I have not had any mandala clones die on me, even while experimenting with new soils. I have one clone that has been uprooted 3 or 4 times in the two months since I cut it, but it's still alive somehow. These are some tough plants.

They really are just vibrant and healthy. I swear I could see the difference in size after a ten hour span, and these are only under a 23w cfl.

How did you grow them, like mike advises?

I grow in promix bx. I mix in some dolomitic lime, espoma plant tone, and a little bit of blood meal. I occasionally have to mix in some epsom salts when I water. I veg in 6" or 8" pots, and transplant to 10" pots to flower. I flower under about 350w of fluoro lighting, and a 70w hps. I had a 400w hps given to me, as soon as I improve my ventilation I'll be hooking that up.

Forgot to add that I also used BMO FP and a little high P guano during flowering.

I really want to try another "name brand" sativa to compare to my satori. I can't remember the last time I had any bud that I enjoyed this much. I'd like to know if it's this strain specifically, or just any good sativa in general.

I've harvested a few more smaller buds, and will be harvesting the rest as soon as I have some room in my drying box.


Have your plants got "that" smell yet? I think mine were about 3-4 weeks old when it started. The stems of all my satoris get a very pungent, skunky kind of odor that just won't seem to wash off my hands. The plants themselves don't smell particularly strong, until you start to handle them.

Have you grown many other sativas?
