Why are Nirvana seeds so cheap?

Why are Nirvana seeds so cheap? All other online seed shops are $65 to $108, but Nirvana is $28 to $70. Anyone have the answer?

Thank you Roseman. They produce they're own seeds and do not have to use a middle man, according to all who have used them they are great. I am answering myself........... Kinda stupid. Thanks again Roseman.

The real reason why nirvana seeds are so cheap is that nirvana are not a serious breeder, they dont have decent parent stock, they have just got seeds from other breeders and crossed them or bred them, so basically the genetic line isn't as stable.

Parent stock are either land race strains or true breeding strain.

Land race means that the plant hasnt been messed with, its still in the image god created it in.

True breeding is where a company has been breeding a seed for so long that the genetics are completely stable, then it is considered a true breeding strain. Skunk #1 is a strain of this nature.

If you cross two different strains together you will end up with whats known as a f1 hybrid. An f1 hyrbid should be pretty stable and have consistant results that resemble the breeders description.

If you cross two f1 hybrids together that are similar in their genetic make up, (their pheonotypes) then you get whats called an f2 hyrbid which isnt as stable.

Most sites advertise if its f1, as you can see on nirvanas website very few are actually an f1 hybrid which means you could see considerable variation from the single pack of seeds.

Thats why nirvana are cheaper

Let's say you get what you pay for, and when on a budget Nirvana is awesome $28 vs $100 and you should get 4 viable girls if one is unstable thus
$9ish per girl
spend $100 at 50/50 boys to girls you now have 5 girls at $20 per
Nirvana is still a deal and the shipping is awesome

I'll put some up, one plant is on it's 2nd flowering and it is huge now and flowing strong for the 2nd time.
