how many people actually do you think acheive the reported THC content?
I heard if it says it is 20% minus 5%...sounds logical and fair.... kinda pessimistic but seriously...some strains like DP say its like 8-12 or so but they get GREAT reviews...is it the other cannabinoids or something in those strains because i think the content ratings r misleading...
how would we ever know what we acheived without testing it...so a lie could be continued forever...

You bring up a very valid point. Only a small percentage have the resources available to do an accurate test. Simpily printing the thc at 22% may be the best marketing tool they've tried..... but why?

I mean, ya I understand that in the end they are a business and their goal is to make a profit.
But why would you put a thc% that is so high? It reminds me of McLovin putting 25 on a fake drivers license (he only needed to be 21) in that one movie Superbad.

If they are making it up, it is a big difference from what it really is. If they are making it up, then my guess is that the thc content is prolly around 10%. But like I said, why say 22.6% when 19 or 20 would attract the same attention.

I guess they could BS us with the THC% but I figure they could BS us with anything they wanted to from what seeds you actually get to how much they yield. I think you have to have a little faith when getting seeds. Those THC% are also taken from the best plant of each strain under optimum conditions so it would be hard to really get that kind of result at home.

i agree. its all marketing, from yeild to flower time and thc content. if you had perfect conditions the whole grow then maybe come close to the listed specs. i cant wait to try some known genetics. i tried bagseed and i will say that it ended up being some of the best smoke ive ever had. time and patience really pays off, just by not harvesting until nice and ripe and a good cure made for some great bud.

Ya, an expert's curing process will really heighten the thc as well as taste. It's always disappointing when my friends don't cure it at all, they just hang it upside down and expect the job to be done.

wow, yall dudes really kno alot. im new here an all but im startin my first kush grow in a week or so. waitin on my seeds kushberry from dna an violator kush from barneys. im goin wit 15 cfls for the veg, then 2 1000 watt mh for the first month of flowering, then finishing of wit 2 1000w hps an some cfls for added lite. only nutes im usin is fox farm big bloom an sum bat shit
