F**k Feminized Seeds

So I bought feminized skywalker seeds from amsterdam, they were from Dutch Passion.

I was growing two skywalker plants for the past few months and they were just coming into their 6th week of flowering when I noticed they had gone hermie for no reason....I have kept the temperature below 85 and they were only stressed a little ppm wise but other than that I don't know what happened.

I looked online to see if anyone else had this problem and I found a person that said his skywalker plants turned hermie right in their 5th week of flowering.....go figure.

I know the saying about feminized seeds and how they can go hermie, but I have also heard of people have had success with it.

Either way.....I'm fucking done with feminized seeds because those hermaphrodite bitches ended up pollinating my other OG plant that I had and buttfucked it full of seeds. I just don't want to take the risk of growing plants all the way into their later weeks of flowering to find they are hermie....fuck that. Not to mention the fact that they pollinated my other perfectly good plant just makes me never want to deal with feminzied seeds again.

I just killed them all because there is no way I am going to pay for the electricity and nutes for three plants shit full of hermaphrodite seeds.

Peace~:-|

yea man that sucks. from what ive read about skywalker, it sounds like best strain available, imho.

do u think it was maybe due to the blueberry genetics in it and not the femenized seed? ive read that BB is a very sensitive strain and hermies alot under a very little stress. idk im just thinkin

have u ever completed a skywalker grow??

Nope this was going to be my first time through.

Never heard that about blueberry being sensitive but yeah it could just be in the skywalker genetics then for sure instead of it coming from the fact that they were feminized.

Not sure, but I guess there are two different kinds of skywalker, one that smells like lemon and the other smells more like coca cola, so I've heard.

I had the lemon one, and so did that guy who had his plants turn hermie on him too. So maybe it is just the lemon that is the more sensitive one. The people who talk about the coca cola one don't seem to run into that I guess but I think it is the harder phenotype to come by.

that sucks man... i had a bubba kush clone turn hermy on me once. . i think i know when it happend. . i was gone for a weekend. . and left my exhuast and intake fans off like a moron (on accident), and when i got back my room was freakin hot and humid, the air was stale. . stressed the hell out of them. . my grape ape, and big kush ended up being fine probably becuase they were a lot bigger, and stronger than the bubba. . anyways. . it sucked becuase it pollinated my ak47, so i ended up with 2 out of 4 clones hermy! maybe some genetics are more hermy prone huh?

las 2 grows did dutch passion orange bud and bluemoonshine and they were feminized seeds and they hermied like there was no tomorrow, i did daily looks and picked them off with tweezers and and got hardly any seeds . once thier in full budding in the 7th to 8th week it wont matter much anyway they wont do nuthin as far as seeding goes.
