I'd like to grow an auto flower to see how it grows and what the smoke is like, but I have my garden set up on a continuous grow with 12/12 flowering strains.

Has anyone grown auto flowers with 12/12? Could you tell me what the results were?

I will tell you that 18/6 is the best cycle as far as I've done. I almost always have an auto going whilst my plants are in veg mode but I have thrown a few in during my 12/12 cycle. The yield isnt as much but they do well under 12/12. My experience with autos has been that once you get growing and into the 2-3rd week, its smooth sailing. For some reason mine seem to be fragile the first two weeks.

I heard 20/4 is best.. is 18/6 actually better for your autos than 20/4? what about auto AK47s?

Thats what I grow is auto AK. I have also tried 20/4 and the results didnt convince me that the extra 4 hours made any difference. I've also done 24/7 for 77 days.

Feck, autos pretty much grow however you do them. I havent tried the window sill yet, but I imagine that would work well also.

when did ur ak's start to stretch? my bud has 2 that are in there 4th week from sprouting and there only about 5'' tall but very very bushy and dense.no flowering at all yet.

Mine seem to grow most during the 4-7 week time frame. OMG do they stink too!!

Don't mean to highjack the thread,Boneman what nute strength works best for autoflowers.Do you feed them the same as any other type of pot plant,300ppm,600ppm,1200ppm.
I have just recieved a order of autoflower seeds and was not sure on the feeding of them.OPH

OPH....I do find my batch of auto AK's to be nute sensitive and I feed them 1/4 of recommended dosage and bump up from there. I do "plain" water them much more then my full size girls.
