No i dont agree with you at all, if you want to go for fem seeds go for it, i got good results with them and got more fems.

Everyone always looks at the price of seeds and think oh they are expensive, but you think about the price of weed and the fact that you can grow your own super skunk or whatever from a seed that costs between 1 and 20 dolllars, if you get 2 oz per plant and get 5 fems out of a pack of seeds then you end up with 10 oz, 10 oz for a pack of seeds that cost how much?

green thumb video has taught us ALL a TON (that means a lot) i'll take his advice before anyone elses dont get shitty anyone, i personally like Fem'd seeds they worked for my boy, and thats good enough for me, so how about we stop the pissn contest it helps nobody, and we all post what we have read and learned, so peace dude but i like femnized they work but clones are the only 100% tech you can get so good job everyone, peace!

Good info , NGT. I considered the Fem Seeds. But havent heard enough from people who used them and gave the results. I may give it a shot.

I was hoping to see the pros/cons to using them. So far....I heard the pros....now I need to hear the cons.

Additionally, one of the dilemmas is which feminised seed company to trust. Dutch Passion sounds dependable. Greenhouse seeds has some outstanding strains. Their feminised are cheaper than their non fems I think. But how good are they? And, what is the consequence of one plant going hermie on you? Does it fertilize all your females; is it just a few sections that turn hermie or the entire plant; how much time do you have to catch it and remove the male features? Those are some of my questions. Dutch Passion's information is enrouraging regarding their feminised seeds:

If a plant goes hermie on me but doesn't affect the yield in the end, then it wouldn't matter. It sounds like the chance of having a hermie with Dutch Passion seeds is 8% or less. And from their literature it sounds like little consequence even if you do. But I'm really not sure now I want to order DP strains although some of them are no doubt outstanding. I'm looking at Greenhouse feminised and they are inexpensive but of course I don't know if they are dependable.

It's very possible I end up getting regular seeds and just pulling the males. If I use regular seeds, how many of each strain do I need to plant to make sure I come out with at least one female?
