anybody know of a mellow strain that wil ease somebody into the smoking weed,every time my mate has smoked in the past he gets real para and never had a got time smoking weed.need a strain to break him in

By "para" I assume you mean paranoid, so you need an anti-anxiety strain that will make him feel good, but not too trippy so he's spooked.

Strawberry Cough, Dutch Passion would be my first choice:

thats cool i got some dp blueberry (fem) that i will be growing next month,does the way you grow make any differance to the high you get,like if i grew in soil organics rarther than in hydro with ionic nutes ? and how do you rate dp fem seeds (if you used fem ones) i hear they tend to hermi alot thats why i aint got round to cracking them so far.

p.s. my mate has never smoke green only soap bar do you think that could have anything to do with it,i mean its got all kinds mixed with it to bulk it out

you want a strain that is indica dominant. I would stay away from calimist and strawberry cough. You can always go with Northern Lights or Afghan.

I think alot of times it has to do with where your at, what time of day it is, who you're with etc. I've smoked at night and had no paranoia but when I smoke the same shit the following day I start geeking the fuck out for no reason. I've been smoking anything that burns for 15 years and I still have tripped out moments.

I don't believe the growing method will change the TYPE of high/stone, but will definitely change the yield, growing period - and possibly potency.

I love the fem seeds, it's all I'll use from now on when given the choice.

As I understand fem seeds and hermieing: Stress and genetics can both cause hermieing.

Fem seeds are made by stressing (usually light period) a plant with (hopefully) good genetics into producing both male and female flowers. When the plant pollenates herself in isolation the seeds will all be female.

If a plant has poor genetics whatever seeds are made from that plant will pass on the poor genetics - shit in/shit out. If the mother tended to hermie the seeds could produce hermies with no stress. I've had seeds from a breeder that I wouldn't give away, hermie after hermie in different mediums while other breeders grew beautifully. And those seeds were regular, not fem. Frustrating, you go insane trying to figure out what you're doing wrong and finally find out there's nothing that you could do to grow proper plants from garbage seeds.

If the genetics are good the light stress that causes the plant to hermie will not change the genetics in the off spring, so the plants grown from the fem seeds should have no more chance of hermieing than the mother. Established, reliable breeders as sold through Attitude or Pick n Mix should be good - or they wouldn't still be selling. Time tested.

you grow the weed till most of the trichomes are amber, less THC more CBN. Vaporizing is supposed to give a more mellow buzz.

question for hobbes or anybody who can help...

so if my plant/plants hermi with out stress,i should just bin them? or is there any use saving the pollen to seed a good plant....would that give me fem seeds? was thinking if i could salvage anything from a genetic hermi plant?
