I'm shopping around for clones and was looking for a heads up as to how much I can expect to pay per clone. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think between $10-$15.

Damn I wish I was paying $10-$15..I dont have any dispensaries near-by so I have to get them from friends who grow, and I pay $30+....When I get them, they are pretty big tho.

Where do you guys order clones from? Are there any clubs/dispensaries that ship to non-authorized states?

there are no dispensaries in my state... in my state it is illegal as in most.

the way i see it, i place an order for a couple hundred bills and got the govn't letter. i placed another order for a couple hundred bills and got my beans. so i'm out about 500 dollars. then i would be the one taking the time to raise the little beanies up (good luck on germination rates with some seed stock)... then patiently growing them... then flowering them... then vedging them.... and cloning them.... all after being the one to risk getting it to my state to begin with.

if someone wanted a couple clones from me (1-4) there would be a flat fee: $500 dollars. good genetics shouldn't come cheap. they didn't come cheap to me. and when ur buying a sexed clone ur knocking about 4 months off the time its going to take to see ur first crop.
priceless. (and that's if i felt like doing someone a favor in the first place, and they weren't really a friend)

(EDIT) ... and people are routinely paying 15 dollars (up to 30) per seed... with roughly half being males and completely worthless. germination rate isn't always 100 percent... it takes electrical costs to raise the seed... etc. IMO a sexed clone is and should be worth far more than an unsexed seed. Ya'll are (apparently) getting a helluva deal from those dispensaries.

$15 is what I pay. Seen them for $10 to $25 depending on the club.

Are you serious? $500 for 1-4 clones? You're nuts! I got some Sour Diesel and OG Kush cuts for $15 each. They must have chitty genetics.

not everyone lives in California.

i've heard stories of growers that were offered 20k for a clone and they refused, because they didn't want to share their genetics.

i'd be more willing to help someone that i know is just going to grow for personal, but if its business, why bother? the money is a pittance and ur just helping the competition.

if an ounze of the shite ur growing sells for 300 or more... why would you sell a clone for less? you are enabling that person to grow as much of that strain as they ever would want.

Maybe that's why California has so many great strains floating around. Maybe that's why strains evolve in places like California.

Think about this...what if a grower with certain genetics hoards the strain because of, well put nicely, greed. Something happens. Things happen. Growers crop gets wiped out. Genetics gone with it. Can he call his buddy across town to get a few cuts so he can start a new crop of his beloved strain? NOPE! All because he was greedy and did not want to share.

An oz. of my herb would have sold for $300 or more here in California and I've given clones away for free. But hey...different strokes for different folks.
