one word OVERRATED. What a tremendous dissapointment.I almost want to cry.I feel sick.The seeds were soooooooo expensive and i only got 1 female.I took no shortcuts and cared for her to a tee.Now this girl is deciving cause she smells verry nice kinda like juicy fruit gum and looks great dense chunky nuggs full of trics.I hung dried for 8 days and jar cured for 4 weeks.The cure was perfect.Last night i was so excited i could hardly stand it.for a month i stayed true and didnt touch it.and all day i thought about it.I got home selected a nugg prepared the bong and i was ready for lift off.Ok so the cure was interesting the smell changed from juicy fruit to sorta like a whisky sour.verry unique.Any way i filled my bong and lit it up.The smoke was smooth hardly any expansion and had no taste whatso ever.You wouldnt even know you took a hit unless smoke was poring out of your nose.And the high was in no way psyadelic and energetic with a hammer.It was racy and verry mild.The plant was cut at the peek of ripeness 40% amber 50% cloudy 10% clear .and cured properly.The bottom line is its a rip off and ill never take a chance on dna genetics ever again.All these fancy names and mis mashing of genetics is ruining marijuana.I ve had alot of the more popular strains recently and while their were a few really great plants with really amazing weed.As a whole,while pot in general may be overall more potent.I believe the standard for which kind bud is mesured has just kept droping.And now a days you will find a whole lot of fancy names and really nice looking hybrids of mid grade weed.Its a shame and a sham.The designer weeds of today are no match at all for the kind bud of the late eightys early ninetys.So beware of the imposters like la confidential. nice looking no flavor mid grade at a outrageous price.DNA genetics you should be ashamed of yourself.10 seeds $ 165. males 9 females 1. quality mid grade. apperance is a perfect 10.flavor is 1.5 out of 10. potencey 4 out of 10.How in the world could this have won a cup????? looks like the guys at dna genetics know someone to me.

and ive heard that b4 mabey there are diff. phenos and mine was bunk looked amazing tasted like nothing was not verry potent. oh well i guess ill just stick to dj shorts and th seeds.

dude there is definitely different phenos....this is one of the best clones going around my area, and it's from a 10 pack of LA Confidential seeds I bought from DNA.....the shit is straight chronic.....dude I'm feeling for you though, I mean you got a bunk pack of Somas NYCD which is understandable ....I grew some good NYCD awhile back, it was good, but i only grew it once.....so it wasn't that good...but there was 1 pheno in there that was pretty damn good....but the LA Confidential......I just keep doing runs of the shit it's just so tatsey..........I would be pissed if I was you.....but I would definitely give DNA another chance...Soma well.....he just jump in a lake......but try the Con again for sure...

you know truth be told im really missing my la now that i got all this bunk diesel.I may have unfairly judged it cause i was expecting so much more.but putting it up to diesel it wins hands down.Thing is i harvested the la with a batch of heavy duty fruity from th seeds.And i was thinking the la would blow it away but that fruity shes a winner.The pheno of la i had looked and smelled dank.after the cure it took on a purpleish black hue. and had a faint skunky taste that was sweet and sour at the same time.and the nuggs smelled like a whisky sour.but the taste and smell were faint.With the fruity it was like bam!! HELLO!!!!! the second you opened the jar it smelled like a skunk in a berry patch throught the house.And the taste was just like the smell and just as strong.As far as potencey everything i grow wrecks my head so its hard to judge and thats why smell/taste are so important to me.So yes i would grow la again if i got a clone or free seeds. but after 9 males ill never buy them again

FUCK overpriced seeds and fancy schmancy names! I always look at the genetics of each and every plant and stick with alot of the oldschool solid strains or crosses.

The LA con I'm smoking right now is some fire but the chocolope I got is stronger, more racy which I don't really like. How long did your LA take to finish flowering?
